      I liked inuyasha when iw as younger, as i got older some of the romance stuff really started to irritate me, but its a trope found alot in anime so its not just inuyasha but i feel like the relationship really didn't develop much, yea they had their bonding moments but by the next episode they were back to square one when they reached step 3 in a previous episode. it started to annoy me how Sango and Miroku were. Miroku gropes or touches Sango she hits him, real couple are usually touchy feely with eachother, well she hits him and gets angry, he puts the moves on other girl she hits him and gets angry. i found myself starting to skip those portions of the episodes

      what do u mean by “cute” love triangle between inuyasha, kikyo, and kagome? that was the most annoying and stupid part of the show. next to miroku and sango’s love. even after miroku purposes to sango he still hits on other girls. why is it that this perverted crap is so popular in anime on characters that ppl actually like? i like miroku except for his pervertedness, and i really like jiraiya from naruto except for his perveyness

    Another power (if we could call it that) is that Tessaiga is what keeps Inuyasha's demon blood sealed from taking control on him ,since is showed that when he looses his sword and he is close to die his demon blood takes control over him to save his life making him unable to know who are his allies and who are his enemies transforming him into a killing machine that only would stop when he dies.

      @vkak1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      @@LilJ3090 wind scar, backlash wave, the red blade, the crystal blade and the space slash. You kidding me....that was a few abilities. Remember this was a much more episodic series and shorter than series like Naruto and bleach....both which had characters use the same damn techniques for 90% of the entire mangas. Naruto broke out a shitload of techniques in the fourth war but that was at the damn end of the series. Kenshin was the same.....he had a few regular attacks and then he learned his two hidden techniques and boom...series was over. Inuyasha hardly had solo fights or even concentrated on details of fights like other shonen (yes fights were important but not a super detailed like in Dragonball and naruto, etc.). And hell, it's better than Dragonball techniques which were always ki blasts with different colors or hand movements but very little varying effects (except for Destructo disk, special beam cannon, and few others, or very strange abilities like teleportation or buu magic...for the most part main techniques are the same).

      Also It did not reject Sesshomaru when he briefly wielded it to save Sara's soul. it responds to people, demon or half demon, when they express concern toward humans. That's why it first transformed when Inuyasha told Kagome to shut up and let him protect her.

    Good video :) the lore behind the tessaiga and tensaiga is amusing that I watch swords of the honorable ruler multiple times as a way of appreciating those swords. To fully understand the two you have to know the history of both and how they work together. What I didn't see you explain was the reason why the tensaiga was reabsorbed to the tessaiga in the final act but then it is a minor detail which just resulted to the meido tessaiga.

    Man, I'll tell ya. Seeing an Inuyasha video in 2020 gave the the push I needed to finally watch the series from start to finish as I've only seen it in scattered bits and pieces growing up. Fast forward two months later and here I am, finally letting myself watch this video and can understand it fully. Now as for my favorite Tessaiga, I gotta go with the Black Tessaiga, not because it's the strongest, but for that sweet Space motif.

    Sometimes, I like to think that the yokai and oni of this world actually became the Pokemon that exist in the universe. If you look at every single one of them, they have so many things that connect them together and I like to theorize that after a hundred years had passed, the yokai and oni that lived in the feudal era were pulled into another dimension where they were able to survive, but they slowly lost their ability to talk and take on human-like forms with the amount of time that they spent in this dimension. Even more so, some of them went even crazier and lost all senses of reasoning and became the Ultra Beasts introduced in the Sun and Moon games. However, the yokai and oni that still had some sense of sanity left were soon sent back to the world they originally came from the only problems were, they had lost their original forms and the ability to communicate. So they became subjected to the titles that the people who discovered them would call them. This led to them only being able to say the names that people called them when they found them. From there, the people and Pokemon came to rely on each other to get stronger together. This is why Pokemon battles are essential to their lives because they are so desperately trying to relearn everything about what they once were as well as if there is a way that they can return to the form they once had years ago

    • @MajorLawliet
      @MajorLawliet 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is an, indeed, utterly impossible theory.
      But sounds fun.

    • @laurasohn8332
      @laurasohn8332 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MajorLawliet hey, according to Pokemon lore, they were said to have just appeared out of thin air even though many reports claim that Pokemon had been around for centuries and if you look at many of the yokai and oni of InuYasha's world, they really do seem to match up with the Pokemon seen in the series. For instance, in the Final Act series of InuYasha, there is one scene where two twin brother yokai who shared the same body were fighting each other for dominance. Their choice of attacks? Fire and lightening based powers. Now where else in the Pokemon world do you see this type of example? None other than Reshiram and Zekrom of the Black and White series. Plus, you have Pokemon like Ninetales who is a clear example of a feudal era yokai. So, even if you call me crazy, I can call your bluff and raise you instances of when the worlds Pokemon and InuYasha clearly seem to coincide with each other in ways that make it seem like they could be linked together in some way

    • @MajorLawliet
      @MajorLawliet 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@laurasohn8332 Except we actually know perfectly well where Pokemon come from - Arceus.
      And fire/lightning, like most elemental powers, are the most common of things that you see in anime in general. You'd have an easier time listing what fantasy animes don't have some elemental power stuff rather than which have it.
