One of first videos Insomnium had was for The Elder, which is a great song, so you might want to check that out. It's a bit old though, so quality is a bit shaky. Another song I would recommend is One For Sorrow: a few years old and has a similar feel to it - or maybe I just think it does as they both hit way too close to home. Others have also mentioned a couple of bands, my vote goes to Swallow the Sun and Dark Tranquillity. They both have way too many amazing songs, so picking one is not an easy task. So I won't.
