@@htmm5167 Yeah I think the same thing all the time, did they have the spark & just get lost? or were they really never in it for a real reason at all?
^^^ this!!! How do you expect someone to record vocals on top of a complex melody that already has the flow of someones vocals. You NEED that simple beat for someones vocals to sit perfectly in the beat. There are occasional melodies that are complicated that work, but a lot of the beats/instrumentals are simple melodies with just multiple layers
@@EnglandPJBro your so right. Your beats should always be missing one track. THE VOCALS!!!! Thats why I love rapping to Lil Tjay Type beats. It’s just ambience, piano, and a nice vocal chop. It’s so easy to flow Fr.
This how u make a "lil baby melody" specifically. Melodies of this specific style are suited for this specific rapper. (A lof his melodies follow this pattern). If you want to learn how to make melodies in general I do post other videos. Artist type beats, or beats for specific artists usually sound similar for a reason.. the artist likes that style. I get your point, but cant agree with it fully. Visual learning like this is a great way for newer producers to learn and develop their own skills and branch off from here
basically, use your eyes and numbers, anything but your ears and your feeling
It's funny wonder why they want to make music in the first place ?

Im just saying, in the industry, its very rare that such complex beats get placements, it just gets excessive at a certain point yk

How this beat is complex lol if not top notes its simplest melody possible and with top notes its still simplest melodies possible XD
99.9% industry melodies are way way more complex than it. Maybe melodies from dababy era/blueface were less complex

i hate tutorials like this. it doesn’t teach any musical skills, just how to copy exactly what someone else does. use your ears, not your eyes
