A car with character, it seemes like, it is talking(Engine sound) to you. My Dad had once an 17m 1700s and a 20m 2000s Xl both P7b(correct def.). If the rust problems are getting be handled, it's a car for a lifetime. Check the ignition time cap (turn a little to left or right) maybe Carb need more ram and Air. But even so, a big, spacey, comfortable and low cost Oldtime with Charme!! Well done
Had a very similar car in the early '80s when we were posted in (then) West Germany. 1969 Ford 2dr 17m 'P7b',that one had a V-4 rather than a V-6. Car was cheap (bought off another American going 'stateside') & was getting pretty worn out,but it got me to where I needed to go? Just have to keep an eye on Rust, and (mine at least) used oil if you drove it fast (Think Autobahn. Only did about 125 kp/h anyway?) for too long.
@JMCCarsPOV To keep original is best, but for driving better with smaller and thicker steering wheel. I had probably 10 of these cars when I was younger. Is your engine running fast, or was it on choke?

Es gab keinen 2,0 Liter V6 mit 111 PS (DIN) da gab es nur eine 85 und 90 PS Variante. Der nächst größere Motor war der 2,3 L V6 und der hatte 108 PS

It’s my dad’s, he loves it!
It's not a Ford Taunus ... Kein Ford Taunus und wenn es ein 2,0 ist hat er max. 90 Ps. ...
dejligt med en veteran på kanalen, håber der kommer flere i fremtiden:)
Vi ville elske at filme flere af de ældre biler, biler var noget helt andet back in the days
No Taunus🤓 P7a or P7b and then 20m, 23m etc.
lembra também o compacto dodge polara
Seems to be in between the UK mk2 and mk3 cortina in style, also gets 6 cylinder 2.0 as usual, in the UK we only got the 4 cylinder in 2.0 ,
Unkaputtbarer V6 👍

@@torbjrnmelbye6823 it should be a time capsule to get in this car, not an everyday experience
@@torbjrnmelbye6823 er du egentlig dansk? Forstå ikke lige hvad du mener med motoren?
@@JMCCarsPOVJeg er norsk. Går motoren høyt på tomgang? Eller var den bare kald?
