I will continue saying it my guy. You should do a whole reaction to the mini films they have made since the beginning of the last album, The Silver Scream.
Obviously is horro-inspire and you say you don't like horro movies but it will give soooooo much context to the songs and will make you appreciate them more. This two albums aren't just about the horror inspired movies but more about the under story happening in the background. They have already made multiple mini-films that are almost if not a little more over an hour long.
Also, do them in order as you will understand the Sequences of events better.

This is the metalcore power ballad of the album! It's just so dynamic and beautiful. The "Flight of the Bumblebee" solo is my favorite. This is my new favorite INK song and it's going to stay there for me. I love it so much!

@@brandonwilliams1861 oh, absolutely. And I'm not even a huge fan of Candyman lol. I really like the first one, don't get me wrong. But the song, even with the theme aside, is incredibly good. But like you said, with the theme retained...it's perfectly written about Candyman's story. So awesome.

I think this is the perfect closer to the album, they saved the biggest chorus of the album for the last song, Spencer is hauntingly beautiful throughout the track and the flight of the bumblebee guitar moment? Just absolute perfection.

Top 5 is pretty clear in my mind, from 6 onwards the order could be changed.
Bottom of the line is, I at the very least like and can jam to all the songs, there's not one I would skip so, at least from my point of view, they totally knocked it out of the park with this album :D

Favorite song on the album. Bar none. Honestly, Candyman's story is really sad and depressing. Dude got murdered for falling in love then left to be forgotten unless summoned, just to essentially fall in love again by the end.
Killed by “mob Justice” just to come back to haunt his descendants. A really poetic feel if you ask me.

I mean a really liked all of the songs, even the Tier C ones, but if had to put them in order it would be that tier list.
For me this is the album of the year, this album has no bad songs, it is heavy and melodic with that special sound that Ice Nine Kills gives to their songs, all the songs have a really Nice chorus and the breakdowns are sick, Spencer growls and cleans are fantastic, all the songs have their own identity and you can recognize them very fast, also every song has a special effect that makes reference to the movie. For mr this a 10/10 and a perfect continuation of The Silver Scream.
There's to many AOTY contenders man Gojira, ink, Spirit Box, and a ton more.

As much as I love a heavy breakdown this one for me just did it. Favorite chorus they've ever written by far! It just has such a powerful hook and the emotion behind Spencer's voice is next level on this one. Not to mention it's perfect for the Candyman franchise. Between the lyrics and the sudden switch ups I don't think they could of done any better. Even the flight of the bumblebees was such a nice and genius touch. Take your Pick for sure will be my favorite breakdown by them but this one just had all the right elements that I love and look for in music.

I had to listen to this song multiple times and everytime I do, I like it more and more. Also that guitar solo in the middle of the song is "flight of the bumblebees" which is a super difficult piano pieces.

I feel like if you had watched Candyman before hand you'd love it more. This is by far my favorite song from them, and I normally like the heavier stuff.
This was the best pen to paper lyrics for any movie they've done, and the way the song goes through is hypnotizing like the Candyman got Hellen...

Take Your Pick is one of my least favourites from the album, probably above Rainy Day. Idk, it's heavy, but I feel that's about all it has going for me. All the other songs are so much more involved.

Agreed honestly. Take Your Pick is my least favorite. None of the songs are bad in my opinion but the voices in it throw me off way more than what they included in the other songs

This song has 100% grown on me, a fantastic closer with one of the softest and heaviest endings.

I loved the whole album but this is easily my favorite track from it
My personal tops from this album are:

But INK always makes it hard to decide between top songs. There's no album where I can list less than 3 as my favorite. They also always do a bang up job with album closers and album flow, especially since Every Trick In The Book.
Also, absolutely love the fills from Patrick. Loved his stuff since he's been drumming in Affiance to when he moved into Ice Nine Kills. The drums on Farewell II Flesh give me some nods or vibes of his style during Threshold, the song that closed out The Campaign by Affiance, and my all time favorite song by them, too. All around, that song brings EVERYTHING to the table. It holds nothing back.
Based on the Candyman movies my favourites are the box and FLY
My list for this album:
1. The Box (one of my favourite INK songs, possibly top 5 best hooks in recent metalcore)
2. Farewell II Flesh (I re-watched the Candyman films after hearing this song. They captured the story Daniel Robitaille perfectly)
3. Ex-Mortis (LOVE the arrangements/ production on this. The most "fun" sounding track IMO)
4. Opening Night/ Welcome To Horrorwood (Best way to introduce a sequel album)
5. Funeral Derangements ("The wrath of God lies beneath this soil" is one of my favourite pre-breakdown lines)
6. The Shower Scene (Honestly i've never seen Psycho but i loved the Bates Motel tv series)
7. Hip To Be Scared
8. F.L.Y.
9. Wurst Vacation (would have been bottom of the list but it has grown on me recently)

11. Take Your Pick (The breakdowns are brutal. Corpsegrinder's feature is perfect. but that's about all i like about this one)
12. A Rash Decision (Bit of a forgettable track for me. If you asked me if it was on Silver Scream 1 or 2 i probably would have said 1 by accident)
13. Rainy Day (i don't exactly hate this one, but i do find myself skipping it more often than not when i'm listening to the album)

Honestly, the inclusion of Corpsegrinder added nothing to Take Your Pick. They made a so much better deathcore song on the first one with Axe-mas. The whole song feels so tonally confused and just... not great. Thats why it's at the bottom
