Took bsnl Ftth free installation in 2018 and been enjoying 50mbps internet from that time.
It's been really good!
I am using FTTH BSNL connection. It is stable. It is to be noted that both download and upload speed are good. It is also affordable. Service is satisfactory.
BSNL always a good connection to have
I'm a keralavision user.
They provide internet at cheap rates but note that the reliability is very poor.
During lockdown time they had connection issues for over a month(march-april) and they even reduced all customers bandwidth to half during this time without prior notice.
They told that its fixed but still they have packet loss and latency issues .
For professional ,gaming or work use dont take their connection you will seriously regret it.
And the worst thing is their customer service.
For random video streaming and browsing you can take their connection other than that dont take it.
At present no one is willing to provide connection in my area and im totaly trapped else i could have changed the connection .
You can ask your LCO to provide a BSNLftth connection. Its good
It's a line fault buddy, I had a while before, ask your local cable operator to check the line from your home and backwards. Mine got sorted after fixing a bend.

Very detailed info. Presently I am having airtel 8mbps unlimited with unlimited landline at 471rs. I find this VFM. I run one android tv with it and usual browsing. In tvm city, thampanoor airtel quality is excellent.
I don't know why they have not mentioned about Railwire. It is one of the best ISP in Kerala with great bandwidth and have all kinds of plans suitable for all kind of people. One of their best plan is 100mbps 1TB data per month for 999 plus tax which no other ISP in Kerala can match with. Even in this lockdown period there was no instance of downtime and always give constant upload and download speed. The installation charges were also less compared to BSNL. And you didn't mention that GST is not included in all of the plans except some combo plans and the billed amount will be marginally higher with 18% GST and 1% Flood Cess.

@@hebinhenry9506 I dont know what made you say so? The entry level plan of railwire is 449 which is much less than that offered by BSNL, Asianet, Jio and Airtel and gives tons of data too. Have a resaerch bro.
@@praveenrk_rkp but for that 449 entry plan the provided speed is too low when compared with Kerala Vision. I have used railwire for almost 2 years and changed to Kerala Vision because Railwire provides good speed only at high rates.

BSNL ഇതിലും തോൽവി ആണ് ബ്രോ. മാസം 1000₹ ബിൽ വരുന്നുണ്ട് (50mbps 300GB cap) എന്നിട്ടും connection speed constant അല്ല. ചിലപ്പോ 480p video പോലും buffer ആകും. BSNL എക്സ്ചേഞ്ച് ഇൽ വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു മടുത്തു. ആരും എടുക്കേണ്ട. ഞാൻ ഇത് എടുക്കാൻ 300mtr കേബിൾ വലിക്കാൻ ഉള്ള cash ഒക്കെ കൊടുത്തു, ഒരു തുക ചിലവാക്കി അതുകൊണ്ട് മാത്രം കട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല..

I am using Dwan Support Optical Fibre connection for 863/- (GST included). Most of the time I am getting 44 Mbps Download and 42 Mbps Upload out of 50 Mbps plan. FUP is 750 GB. My WIFI Router is DIR 816 750 Mbps Dual Band.

If you are ok with down time and reduced speed than what they say, kerala vision and asianet should be fine. Yes kerala vision il down time und only for mostly 15 minutes but gaming live stream il ath preshnam aakum. I don't know that happens because of corona issue
all other operators user DHCP mode connection, whereas BSNL uses PPPOE with unique usernames for each customer

Please Help!I'm confused.. I'm from chembukkav Thrissur. Applied for Asianet broadband with maximum download speed 50mbps..planning to pay 8923 yearly including installation charges. They are going to use splitter with coaxial cable to get for both tv and broadband. What's everyone's opinion?

Kerala service is under the name Asianet. If having doubt ask at any asianet office. I was using Hathway at Mumbai and now Asianet in kerala for the past 6 years.

Kindly don't choose Asianet. My Broadband Plan is for 125 Mbps but the highest speed I get is 45 Mbps, because the Modem Asianet provides doesn't have the capability to deliver more speed and they are going to hide this crucial fact from you. A technical team member from has Asianet shared this information and also advised to buy dual band modems if you need high speed internet.
Jio rate is high, but the speed is top notch. Have been using Jiofiber for 7 months. Not a single issue

But, what is so important seems the network speed and the service. It is unmatchable
@@vinayranjan8487 BSNL 600GB CUL FTTH 849 plan plus taxes. 600 gb per month and post fup get 2 mbps unlimited. in jio post fup is just 1 mbps. also basically their plan offer just 100 gb and extra gb offer is temporary and they can discard it anytime. for 100 gb ftth is waste as in 4g jio plan we get 2 gb per day so monthly 60 gb almost same like 100 gb and if activate two 2 gb per day plans then we can get 4 gb per day and monthly 120 gb.

The only thing i want to clarify through my comment is the services of Jio,which i'm constantly posting as comments. Not a single time have i got any trouble since i changed to Jio fiber.
@@vinayranjan8487 If you take BSNL also get same result same download and upload speed at 50 mbps and connection very stable hardly any downtime. Other providers especially asianet is very unstable both in their old coaxial and in fiber and also upload speed low when compared with download. Other providers like railwaire, kerala vision etc though their plans and service is good they not give service in most areas due to lack of infrastructure.

Bsnl bit expensive but stable. Keralavision have cheaper plans that includes truely unlimited plans [Without fup]. KV is okay for general browsing and streaming youtube or any other OTT. But you are looking a stable connection for gaming and live streaming, go for bsnl

Bsnl optical എടുത്തിട്ട് ഒരാഴ്ച ആയി. കുറച്ചൊക്കെ stable ആണ് സ്പീഡും ഉണ്ട് പക്ഷെ ഒരു ദിവസം രണ്ട് മൂന്ന് മണിക്കൂർ net പ്രശ്നം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അല്ലാത്തപ്പോ സ്പീഡ് ഒരു രക്ഷയും ഇല്ല. 70 to 90 Mbps ഒക്കെ പോയി. ഇത് continuous ആയി കിട്ടുമോ എന്നു ഒരു മാസം നോക്കിയിട്ട് പറയാം
