The Viva Las Vegas movie is amazing, such a great chemistry between Elvis and Ann Margaret. To be honest both look so good it's unreal. Always loved this song, thanks for doing a reaction on it. I've shared some of your Elvis reaction video's in my FB Elvis group. You got a lot of positive feedback and many already knew about your channel. So Go you!

Yes, Elvis don’t need a remix, ever. And, correct me if I’m wrong, even Home Free hasn’t attempted a Cover, nor should they try. Some things can’t be done great, twice.

Loved your reaction seeing that the original was way better I tried listening to the remix but to they'd tried to bury his voice I mean it's Elvis doesn't need changing when it's perfection you were only doing as requested posting the remix like you said check out the original first if there's a next time thank you for showing that clip love it 😍👍

Thank you for rescuing us from that remix. One of his best movie songs and iconic movie moments. From his 1964 movie "Viva Las Vegas". Their obvious chemistry carried well beyond the movie set ;-)

    Right decision!
There are a few remixes of Elvis wich are not bad. For example:
    A Little Less Conversation.
But apart from this, like you said:
Elvis need no remix, it's Elvis 😀
P.S. Don't be too strict to yourself!
We all learn from 'mistakes' 😉

You are right, the original is the best, and you are correct, Elvis didn't need a remix. This song scene is another shining example of Elvis' unique style of dance and singing. There will never be another to match his great talent and ability to perform. Your comments are straight on about Elvis and I agree. Glad to see you watched the original.

Why would your mind be so closed to the purity difference A remix is about the instruments and the messy mix it up to be contemporary.
With Elvispresley s voice the music is to accompany it .His is the first instrument and the brightest. You sound young not seasoned .

What makes even less sense to me is when they upload a live
performance and dub it over with the studio version.
Live should be left as it is regardless of if people prefer the studio version.
Both can be heard anytime separately but see someone's mouth not match
the tempo of the song and lyrics is annoying.

Give the tune "Bossa Nova Baby" a listen ... Elvis is dressed to kill, just a solid performance from the film ... "Fun in Acapulco" (if you haven't already done a reaction).
Another is "Return to Sender" with Elvis dressed in a black suit from the film ... "Girls! Girls! Girls!"
Elvis is in top form for both of those tracks, the guy was the coolest. So lucky to have seen him live, thanks to one of his biggest fans, my mom who took me along with her to see him in 1971 (Olympia Stadium, Detroit).

I truly appreciate this what you said about the remix. I find it a lot of remix do not do justice to the original. And that also goes with most movies but they are a some exceptions. Like they did a remake of picnic and the original West was William Holden and Kim Novak you just can't beat some of the originals thank you dramacide for learning that lesson soon. Also if you watch Viva Las Vegas you will see that the sequence that you just saw the sound and the ending of the song I couldn't hear the ending of the very end when I fell to the floor that is so cute if you can hear that sound

Nice reasoned reaction as per usual. As a fan for many decades I put together DVD's of Elvis remix songs e.g. Jailhouse Rock, Burning Love. The reason is that we have listened to these songs so many times that many long time fans rarely listen to the big original hits and look for a new more modern slant e.g. the releases ' Elvis and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra' or 'Cirque du Soleil Viva Elvis' remixes.

Some Elvis remixes work but not all. I think the reason for the remixes is to bring him up to modern day styles and sound. It's to introduce him to a new generation to keep the cash cow going, I mean the people interested so they'll visit Graceland and spend money.

After viewing the Director's Cut of movies like Blade Runner, Brazil, Aliens etc. as compared to the originals, I assumed that the Director's Cut of any film would always be better, so that's what I purchased if I had the chance. Turns out sometimes the folks who edited the original were right XD

He’s absolutely correct. Elvis don’t need no dam remix. People just want to make money by doing a remix and try to make the original song more “ modern.” Elvis didn’t like colonel Park tampering with his music before it was recorded for the public.
Elvis would not approve of the remixes or the Philharmonic Orchestra versions.

We all make mistakes... what's important is we learn from them. Thumbs up!
There's another song in this movie that is cute and fun... can't remember the title... "The Lady Loves Me" I think it's called. It's lighthearted and one of my favorites (I have so many favorite Elvis songs though 🤣). They had so much chemistry between them and Ann Margaret was probably the only woman who could be his match on screen. She was also the only costar to get to sing and dance with Elvis, something Colonel Parker normally didn't permit.

I was born in the mid 70ies in Europe and I grew up watching movies and I liked them very much but I wasn't a big fan or so. When some years ago a live performance of Unsuspicious Minds was recommended to me I realized why he was the King... I don't say he's a bad actor but most of his movies make him look like a nice but superficial guy.

I would encourage you to check a channel called Spa Guy. A fellow named Billy Stallings goes to the actual site of events Elvis was involved in. He uses photographs to actually reenact what happened. He interviews folks who actually knew and were close to Elvis. His information is ALL factual. Such a cool way (if you're interested) to learn about who Elvis was off stage. I have found by learning about an artist or their music you learn to encompass a wider appreciation. Thank you for bring such enlightening reactions 💜

If you get a chance I wish you would react to Elvis Presley and the black community it's a documentary it's not really a song, the first part of it will probably piss you off cuz it's kind of racial not with him but just the people at that time in the 50s but it will all make sense when you watch it, it speaks volumes about Elvis
