EastEnders- Jane threatens to tell the police the truth

With the police due, Max visits Jane to find out what she's going to tell them. Jane insists she's telling them the truth. When Max threatens her, she believes she has evidence with Steven's phone, unknown to her Max already got hold of it and destroyed it.

Max was imprisoned for something he didn't do. Jane knew that and let him go to prison anyway to save Bobby. She also dragged the dead body of her stepdaughter out of the house and dumped her on the common.
Max also said that during his time in prison, because prisoners thought he had killed a young woman they also thought he was a nonce and said to Jane 'Do you know what they do to nonces in prison?', so he would have been through hell.
So, fuck Jane and Ian. The fact that they got off without going to prison and acted like the victims throughout is grotesque.
