To remove decimal from numerator, we divide the number by 10 and same time divide the number by 10 so that value does not change. So, (1.5*10)/10=15/10 which becomes 3/2 after cancelling by 5.

Because if you add all ratios, then it will give - 27+24+32 = 83 And the difference between 32-27 is 5 units. (For the month of March and January) Now, it's given in the question that March's salary is ₹90 more than January which means their subtraction is 90 (March-Jan). So we have equate the equation- 5units = 90₹ 1unit = 90/5 = 18₹ Therefore, 83 units will be equal to 1494₹ (83 x 19) Hope you got it now.

Because 2600 is not divided equally it is divided in some ratio which is given. So you can't divide it by 3 to solve.
