not see difference betwen normal and bump map. only you in strange way get bump map. But from hight angle both looks flat.
They are both flat. If you need something different I would suggest a displacement.
Very nice. In your example the normal map seems to carry much more information. Would it be fair to say they're superior to bump maps?
Yes, I think normal maps are more convincing than bump maps.
