    So nice to see a pond thats not overcrowded.
    So many are like factory farms with the fish packed in like sardines. Its so much nicer to see them have space.

    What a pond....Mine is only 3000 gallons with fish multiplying all the time and I just finished a bog filter. I'm still surprised it's that green and hope local big birds don't eat the fish. I found that a Blue Herring decoy works keeping the Herrings and Hawks away. I would still worry about all the window area that's going to be alot of work trying to keep the windows clean. Good luck on the pond it looks beautiful!

    Wow, it must be amazing to have enough money to have a Koi pond like that, I would be a bit worried about the koi leaping out in the summer though.

    • @honestchris7472
      @honestchris7472 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jase123111 Looking at the rocks around the pond, I notice that they are reasonably high so there is a small risk that a large one could leap out but in my last house, I had a pond that I built myself for koi, not as big as this one though, my one was 16 foot long ten foot wide and at its deepest it was six feet deep, I had rocks all around the edge of the water with a concrete base for them, I built a rock cascade that was kept running from the water filter, the water filter was three feet deep with water fed from the middle of the pond and it was at the same water level as the pond, I made it with concrete it had four three feet chambers with the up and over feed through the filter medium, the last chamber was a pump chamber which fed clean water to the cascade. It was really nice and kept clean the whole year, it also had a bottom drain into the manhole in the garden via a gate valve. I probably bored you with all of that but I was so proud of it and \i had koi from 14 inches to 28 inches.

    Definitely not knit picking but on the inside room on the deck I would of installed a sliding lift up window, just another easy access way into the pond if there was bad weather and you didn't wanna get soaking wet...... But very beautiful,very beautiful..
