For those in comment section who ask the same question over and over again:
If you do not have the ability to watch the complete video and understand everything what sheikh says, or have watched it but didn't find an answer to your question, then you should know that you did not reach the level of an sensible person.

@@ghanemkanj2277 I've changed it now, despite the fact I'm generally lenient towards photography due to the legit difference in opinion, although I do acknowledge that the stronger opinion with most people of Sunnah (including the Shaykh in the video, may Allah preserve him) is that it is not exempt from the ruling of tasweer due to generality of the texts so better to be avoided

They need to seriously catch up and advise on the current culture. Most people take pictures to post online not make actual physical copies of the images. If the image requires a device to see it is it really a traditional picture? Wouldn’t it be the same as a video? And what if you draw people and things with souls digitally again for use and viewing strictly on devices is that haram too?

Shaykh Albani Rahimahullah said it beautifully, if pictures are there angels don't enter, so who enters? shaytan... Omar calls to pictures, yasir calls to shirk ibada of birthdays and the term happy birth is historically a term of sihr calling to jinns. Both Omar & Yasir are innovators callers to shaytan & sihr, and to Allah's anger away from blessings and protection. sell out ikwani marxists who follow salman al oudah.
using birthdays rooted in shirk when we have Aqiqahs is like (somewhat) saying good friday/ happy easter to martyrs who may have died fighting that corrupt shirk & when we don't wash their bodies hoping their blood will smell like Musk on judgement day.
We reject both the idol and the tradition linked to the idol unless its founded in Islam and from a previous Prophet. thats it! We reject the idol and the idol worship even if its just as a custom per Surah Kafirun, we reject other's din. Just like there is no God worthy of worship other then Allah, we reject the worship of other gods as well including as customs as thats the ladder half of shirk and can lead to it like the ppl who forgot about what the images were for in Nuh alehas Salam's time! And images were the former or base part of the shirk shame on Yasir and Umar!
Then theres plenty of hadith on how the picture maker (of faces - or other creatures with souls) is punished!
Also making of pictures can prevent lowering of the gaze.
Shaykh Muqbil's points that a curtain image is not like an idol but yet it was still rejected prove omar wrong as well!

I find it inconsistent ..if you believe photos to be haraam then many many photos in successive frames i.e. video should be haram in your opinion too? What if somebody has no body to teach him Islam and the prayer in his area or close to it, what is the ruling on Islamic videos who teach prayer in that case? If photos are taken for the sake of art and the like then yes, it is haram, but for the videos I thino that it is not haram.

The correct opinion is , that Photography is not Haram. Dr. Fareed Al Ansiri al Maghribi explains this:
There are 2 objections to Photography; 1. Trying to imitate the creation of Allah. 2. Shirk or Idolatry.
So let us deal with the first one, there is no copying the creation of Allah because the camera is not able to create anything, all it does is reflect with a mirror, the camera has a mirror inside it to capture the scene ( nature or whatever ) on its own it is not able to create anything. Only Allah is the creator. Also, the Shaykh is not knowledgeable in this regard. If camera were to be Haram, than the camera that filmed him in this clip would also be Haraam. And looking in the mirror would also be Haraam. Going to the hospital to make an Echo would also be Haraam. So please, use your brain. Instead of listening to foolish fatwas of people who have no knowledge in this regard. This is called Tahqeeq Al Manaat .. to have knowledge of the reality. So when it comes to Fiqh, people must have knowledge in this regard which the Shaykh does not have. Also, what happens scientifically inside a camera , in all its forms, is not Tasweer ( Image creation ) rather it reflects the image! Therefore the correct term is 'Aakis (image-reflector ) and not Musawwir ( Image creator ) because only Allah is Al-Musawwir. So the ones who forbid this ( which are many of the Huffaaz and Fuqaha ) should also then forbid looking in the mirror, because the principle is exactly the same.
What happened here is that unfortunately many of the scholars have misunderstood the essence of Photography. Some scholars are very huge scholars in their fields, but they have zero knowledge of Modern technologies. May Allah guide those who forbid Photography.
Second Objection is Shirk. This is possible, that is why the Islamic ruling states that Pictures should not be hung on a wall or in a high place, to exalt in in this manner is Haraam.

@@96muslimgirl yes but unfortunately atharee scholars always take a longer time to come round. So initially pictures were haraam 100 percent but slowly issues like video recordings for halaqas, Ids, etc have made a lot of scholars evolve their stance. I prefer to err on the Conservative opinion but sometimes it is a little silly. Photo haraam but lots of photos halaal. Some salafee brothers follow their scholars blindly at tines without engaging their intellect.
