Great rendition of a good Dylan song that tells the truth! God Bless Eric Burden! He survived the Rock n Roll excess of the Seventies. He used to be a drinking buddy of Jim Morrison and Alice Cooper. Alice Cooper quit drinking and took up Golf and it saved his life. Jim kept drinking and moved to Paris. Eric is still making music! 👏🏻🎸😎
I took my first date to an Eric Bourdon concert in Scranton, Pa.! She was a sweetheart, and we were both too young to go any further, but I still remember that. That may have been around 1969 or 70. Maybe 1971. It was a great concert, with the Animals, I believe.
The al-kehol paved a path to hell, sobriety brought me enlightenment. It’s your choice. I am free and enjoying life. Eric Burdon is one of the coolest rock stars ever
I've listened to a LOT of covers of this BD classic..Shirley Caesar, Mavis Staples, Bob of course....but this is really good..LIVE at Joshua Tree..love the arrange,ent..love that Eric tipped his hat to Bo Diddley!
Great job Eric, I love the song I think you did a great job with it, I've always been a fan. so glad I found this video thanks to who ever posted this.
@@katmarino4120 you see the world as us and them as good and bad as black and white as Jesus and the devil. And this is a viewpoint that is unnuanced and absolutely silly. It is also stupid and against humanity.
@@katmarino4120 Christians see the world as the devil and God and people as saints and sinners and psychologically they see the world as them who are not us and us who are the greatest supers most unbelievable team in the world and really the only team in the world that has God as the head and we are glorious and we are super and we are unbelievable and we are amazing and we will go to heaven and everyone else to hell. It's a simple and an ignorant argument and a simple and ignorant God that makes it portrays it or in any way supports it, as well as all the people on that team are simple and ignorant.
What a fantastic version of this song! And so nice to see that Eric still has it. In fact, he's got even more soul than he had back in the day. The band is smoking, too.
I had spill the wine on a ktel 20 original hits album in 69/71 when I was between 9/11yrs old..loved it now loved it then ! This makes me think of tom jones doing black betty..maybe its the accent ?? Maybe its cause they are 2 cool cats..👍👍
Lovely to hear Eric Burden in such good voice and creating such a clever arrangement. I'm not sure about how innocent you were in Germany, though, Eric!
Check out Eric video singing "Don't Ever Leave" from 2023 Greek movie. There at 82 he still blows me away ! Thanks for posting this one. It too is great. Cheers
A tope Burdon. Eric Burdon is still kicking ass and taking names! He's quite possibly the coolest man around. And, damn, That Voice still moves me. Wow...

They are serving.....if not the Lord its the devil..........whether they realize it or not.
