How to drive safely. How to pass
This video is filmed during a driving lesson. It is filmed for educational purposes.
Throughout the video there are highlights to show how you should be driving safely.
I hope this video will be useful! :)

Erin's ability to tune out the sound of the indicator is impressive 😂
To be fair lots of students do it, I did it. My mind is more occupied on whats happening on the road and usually the car turns the indicator off anyway. Now that I have been driving independently for a while, its the opposite way. Sometimes I look at the dash in horror, thinking I forgot to indicate and then it turns out I did, but I have no recollection of doing so.
What do you expect from an npc
Erin makes me laugh, I’m going to miss her effortless humour when she passes 😂😂😂
she'll be here for a while still don't worry bud.
@@forzahorizongaming5683 she's passed now so...
@@BoeFreeman yh ive seen. Respect to her.
Could you two just keep driving together after Erin has passed her driving test, please? Your videos are excellent entertainment, a real fun to watch. I love Erin's antics behind the wheel. Apart from that, even with my almost 45-year driving routine, Aman's instructions are quite useful.
Such a cool and kind instructor ❤❤❤
Just came back to this channel to say I've had a test today and passed with two minors. I think your channel has helped keep my judgement and skills sharp. Thank you, you help so many people you don't even realise. You're making a difference.
That's what I'm talking about!! Well done, will you be getting a car straight away?
So good for learners to drive in adverse conditions. Since I passed last week I've only actually driven in the dark with bad weather which has been tough when most of my lessons were sunny midday times.
The trick is to bad weather at night. Do what you would normally do, but about 5% slower. If you hydroplane, keep the wheel straight, and take your food of the pedals. It's good to slow down early for corners, for more controls.
boring@@IvanDBelmont
PErsonally I would disagree, although I think your reasoning is logically sound. I just think there is too much going on when you are learning for it to be of much benefit. IF you build up your driving skills to high level in good conditions, you will be better handled to drive in bad conditions (bearing in mind to take things slow). It still will be scary the first few times, but for me driving in bad conditions when I was a learner would have overwhelmed me.
Had my first lesson last week in the rain 🤣 I have my next lesson on Thursday and it will be raining again. But I do live in wales lol.
Passed my test on 3rd attempt last Friday. It was also the day I drove in snow for the first time.
I literally just love Erin’s chilled reaction to everything😂😂 where am I going? Hahaha
Good progress so far Erin I'm currently doing my driving lessons And loving it!! has long has you remember to start breaking abit earlier than you would in dry weather ull smash it!! you have a good drive and remember you do something wrong u have got a great instructor that will see you right and every mistake is a lesson learned. BTW instructor your amazing with your pupils great work.
Erin is doin so well!! Talking of roundabouts, one of many places comes to mind, that is Swindon, lol. It’s always enjoyable watching the chatting between you both. Keep up the great work Erin, you’ve got this, and please keep the awesome videos coming Aman, thank you.
YES! I found the entire Erin playlist. I'm going to episode 1
Erin is genuinely hilarious makes me laugh out loud every video and her excitement about the avocado was too cute
gonna be a great one! 💯🔥
I've just had your channel come up on my feed. Great content.
I'm currently studying for my ADI part two, so enjoying watching different instructors. Very useful.
Started driving a little bit before Erin and just passed my test on Monday with 3 minors despite being a really nervous driver! Thank you so much for all of your videos, they were so helpful. You got this Erin! ☺️
Any tips because I have my driving test soon
This is so weird because I’m the same and i passed my test on Monday with 3 minors 😂
@@lolnotzahra The biggest tip I can give is to just practice the test routes as much as you can! I pretty much got an entire route I'd already driven before and it made me confident as I knew where I was going 😊
@@lily._.x5178 How strange 😂 Congrats on your pass!!
@@katie9084 Thank you! I appreciate it!
Great content as always Aman, thank you.
hayfever is a thing in winter too! allergies to different kinds of plants, pollen and tree sap kick in at different times of year!
I passed my test today with four minors! Thank you for your knowledge on these videos! And good luck Erin! You got this girl
Erin’s monotone sarcastic voice just sends me
I passed my driving test yesterday. In my area, it was very heavy rain, (I haven't seen it this bad in forever.) I occurred a lot more minors than I usually would on a mock, but I still passed. This channel helped a lot with me learning to drive (I started in May), so thank you to your content for being a very useful tool in my journey.
Will be a sad day for us when Erin passes her driving test! These videos are pure gold 🤣
Glad she reached the mock tests with the scoresheet. Won't be long, now! :)
thank you for the videos just passed yesterday with 4 minors at 17 in a manual
I died when you said ‘try following the blue line’ and she said ‘yeah I am trying to’ 🤣😭
You're coming along nicely Erin, don't fear the big roundabouts, take em on and beat em!
erin is the best. love seeing her
I just passed my test today and I would like to thank your videos for helping!
Erin's, nice smoothed driving, despite the heavy rain! you can't do parallel parking, hope the weather do improve, wish you well.
Passed my test today. Your videos helped me. Thanks
She’s so away with the fairy’s poor lass🧚♀️
My dirivng test is in a few weeks too, I’ve always followed Erin’s videos specifically because we’ve been learning the same things at the same time and I have definatley learned a lot from her mistakes, good luck Erin
Erin’s gonna be such a Range Rover mom
When I was learning I started in winter 2022-2023 and I had a lesson in the snow and ice and I had a lesson in really heavy rain.
I passed first time in august with 2 minors
Erin reminds me very much of me when I was learning
erin passing the driving test will be the greatest moment in history
More chance of my cat winning a Nobel Prize.

@@augustmiller-uw2ly I hope for her sake she's not only doing lessons with Aman.
Not that there's anything wrong with Aman.
@augustmiller-uw2ly I just happened to watch Erin's episode 1, it was an year ago 😅
@@augustmiller-uw2ly A lot of her lessons are like 1-2month apart shes only just started doing them regulary
That’s going to be funny 😆 won’t make it to the premiere but can’t wait to watch at evening ❤
Good Luck to her on her test next month. ❤
Oh Erin again a thriller Comming up 🔥🔥🔥
Erin is doing so well! I think she's almost ready for her driving test, also she has such an amazing personality! Love her videos 😊
You can do it! The first time I drove in rain I was crawl along at about 30 miles per hour in a 70 as the rain was that bad. All the cars in front me were doing the same. And after that it hasn’t really bothered me driving in rain. Well done
Erin is really improving and has a great instructor x
All the best Erin , have gained lot of knowledge from this channel and definetly helped me a lot to pass last Wed in my 3rd attempt
Which test centre you passed ?
Is Erin a stoner her driving reminds me of me lmaoooooo I have air head moments 😂😂😂😂
Can’t wait
Every episode with Eris is a fun one with laughs. Love it.
14:34 finally a proper lorry driver. Instead of laying on the horn, tailgating and going ballistic they just sort the situation out and carry on with their day. There are a few good ones out there.
Erin's, you so relax and to the task. your awareness and observation are paramount. Proactive and search for potential hazard.🍒
Passed my test with 4 MINORS today !!! WOOO , your videos were quite helpful thank you
Ayyy grats!
I know Erin can do this you’re a great instructor Aman
Love video
I still love to watch your videos even though I’ve passed
I found it harder to do my last driving lesson because it was raining. Couldn't imagine what she was feeling!!
I love Erin 😂
How much are you going to miss Erin when she passes her test!
I absolutely love her humour 😅 xx
I've just told my instructor I dont want to continue and honestly these videos are what convinces me it's worth trying again with someone else.
He was always really angry and grouchy and putting me down and he made me so anxious. You convince me maybe there's someone out there I could actually learn from 😬
I had that kind of experience with my father in the beginning and it was tough. Switched to driving with my cousin's daughter for a bit (aside from driving with a instructor) and learned more at my speed. But now I'm back to driving with my dad and he's more understanding. Granted I've gotten better in time but my opinion? Be honest to your instructor about how you feel and how dangerous it is that he makes you feel anxious, ESPECIALLY on the road. Otherwise, I advise you to switch instructors. You're there to learn, not to be yelled at. Hope it works out for you!
Stop giving him your money and find a new instructor x
@ariet.alp92 yeah I tried telling him I need a bit more positive feedback and a bit less stress and constant criticism and he told me to stop being emotional because it makes him feel like shit 🙈 Sooo gonna try again with someone new in the new year 🤞
@@sjanex lmao I’m not paying my dad though. However he struggled to understand my anxiety in the beginning and now he’s more understanding lol. I also drive with an actual driving instructor from school and she’s amazing. So that’s why I hope you get one who will guide you through it in a helpful way.
@@ThatWouldBeCareless damn lmao. you’re better off with a new instructor if all he does is criticize you and call you sensitive. I don’t understand how he expects you to learn if all he does is put you down. Way to go for knowing your worth and getting a new one!
i suffer with hayfever all year around erin so i feel you 😂 x
Oh Erin….you poor girl 🥰. All the best.
Please can we have Saima back!
How's she got this far with never driving in the rain
I know this might be hard to grasp but……. What if it didn’t rain the times she had lessons?
@Joe-zd9xw no its not hard but its the UK it rains all the time
@@wrightwoodwork yeah that might true. I took my test in Denmark where it rains all the time as well but didn’t drive once in rain during lessons. Guess it’s just luck or being unlucky however u look at it
I learnt driving in the summer so never saw rain 😂
@@wrightwoodworkno it doesn’t!
Being a driving instructor in UK must be so profitable, these learners are so unserious, can milk them to the end of days.
😂😂😂
There is alot of upkeep on the vehicle compared to normal drivers, they are on the road almost full time and this means they have to change lots of things on the vehicle hence the driving lesson costs. I don't understand it fully but their upkeep costs are quite high, we think they're on 35-45 an hour and they really aren't.
Yes Erin! Good job. Also, we need more night and rain drives
Erin is amazing. She listens to what Amin is saying and learns. She’ll do well.
I wish these video's were longer
Erin ❤
Erin's driving is improving in each new lesson, so she isn't far from Driving Test ready. I love the rapport between Aman and Erin, they are like best pals. I hope that when Erin passes her driving test, she will stay in contact with Aman. I suspect that Aman would appreciate that. It must be a buzz for an Instructor to know how a pupil is doing, in a year or so after they get their full licence.
I always wave at my instructor when I pass his car now that I’ve passed 😂 he always flashes back
She’s definitely not ready yet
@@ginny.w05Well done Ginny. I'm sure he appreciates the recognition.
@@adrianflynn3015 she's passed so clearly she was ready lol
The moment where you said you could get some avocados was so sweet
Teacher Aman it is Important to take Erin to some very steep uphill and let her do some pedal and clutch play and avoiding burnout.Keep pushing Erin she will make it in the end.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow, Erin was a regular chatty Cathy today 🙂
Woooooow. I'm just now seeing this Erin girl. I didn't know she has been here 24 times. I don't understand why it's so difficult for girls to learn how to drive.
The slip road if you can see the cars going faster than you are traveling on the slip road . Speed up . If they are doing 50 and you are doing 50 it becomes so easy to join and not so scary for everyone around you. Roundabouts nice start middle slightly rushing in your head and to keen to get into the left lane to exit so drift lift too soon . Look slightly more to your right it should pull you right a bit and keep you in lane. If you where sitting left of you, you wouldn't want someone drifting left into your lap . Exits good. Also when its quite like in the car park mind people are still wondering wondering plus a lot of people are thinking wheres the space and dont always take in whats happening
When are you going to do a collab video with DGN driving? - This is what we all want!!
1:12 Erins side eyeing all of the commentators ... 😅🤣
I’ve spent the last 3 days watching a load of your videos - very helpful! The only thing I’d say is your commentary is quite hard to read (I was watching on my TV via Amazon Fire Stick). It’s easy if you’re on your phone as it’s close up, but on TVs you can barely read it. Would you mind making them slightly bigger or have a solid black border behind the text?
Hey Aman my test is tomorrow! Been watching your videos for a while and they've been so useful!
Let us know how it goes! Good luck x
@@iman9382 unfortunately I failed for stalling a few times but only had 2 minors
Damn I started learning 3 weeks ago and was driving in the rain on my second lesson
I have my driving test soon 😭
My dad always used to laugh when I said 'reverse back'
Lucky she is... yeah one day she will master it...
Get this girl some avocados! 😂 The pure joy, Erin and Aman are the duo I didn't know I needed! 💖
I think another collab with Driving School TV is well overdue
What would you say the best reference point is for the forward park? My main issue is that even when I use the same reference I get mixed results!
Line up the steering wheel with the white line of the space

Must have 1000+ hours of driving lessons
To make up for it triple parallel parking next lesson 😂
i am still nervous to drive car in traffic
That sign was big but there was another sign in front of it, cluttery a bit
Can anyone suggest/help how to practice driving wearing a shoe ? Im from India used to off-shoe driving and I feel difficult as I could not feel the pedals with shoes
I'm going keep going straight so I don't have to do it 😂😂😂
Hey Aman.. So you can enter on the second lane when existing right? as long as both lanes show the right arrows?
Hi there could you please reply I got Australian driver licence but it's expired can I still change to UK driver licence please reply thank you ma'am
When's is it test time?
What did she say at 24:30? “I really want an avocado and toast” and what..??? Lol 😂
When is her test ? Id miss her when she passes
Pass my test many years ago before there was a theory test. I bet I wouldn't pass this day and age. Picked up too many bad habits.
Nah her vibes are immaculate
3:12 Oh my GOSH! She said, "Is hay fever still a thing now." Whatever you do, don't go to Texas in the United States. It is the worst state for allergies, and I happen to live in the worse city for allergies, which is Dallas area. I'm on antibiotics. I'm sick this week and I have no clue why. I have a cough and I don't know why. I took tests for flu, rsv, strep, co*id, and s*ds. Everything comes back negative. No way the U.K. has worse allergies than Texas in the U.S. I hate living in this terrible state. I've been sick, and the guy at Micro Center installed my new hard drive incorrectly, so I can't even record or upload any videos this week. Of course it happens right as I'm preparing to start something new and big. Always. Every time.
Anyone know what that man shouted?
For the algorithm
Erin has to pass before WWIII starts soon.
Stay away from the kerb. Hitting the kerb used to be a major or fail.
I think other drivers flashing headlights can get confusing as a learner. You are told again and again in the highway code etc. that you should NEVER take it as an invitation to go and drivers are only to flash headlights to warn of their presence. So in my opinion Erin was bound to hesitate if she wasn't sure.
They need to refine that rule more or something.. 🤷♀️
The road was wet and stopping distances are increased. Articulated lorries need a far greater distance to stop than cars. At 50 mph the lorry was pinned in the left lane by other vehicles in lane 2. Joining at 35 mph in front of an articulated lorry is incredibly obvious to competent drivers as extremely dangerous. The lorry driver is simply warning Erin that he is there and thinks you should be aware of the situation.
@@keith6400 yes I know the implications and all that, but Aman told her it was an invitation. The instant thought in your brain then as a young *inexperienced* learner is, yeah but ive learned to take it as a warning not an invitation. That's the bit I was getting at 🤷♀️
There is what you are told to do in the highway code and what happens in the real world. Over time you will work it out
@@VicketyVick bet you'll do 19. 5mph in a 20 zone 😅. The people writing highway code probably take the bus. Its also annoying giving people way and they just sit there. I don't wait for them to wake up. Communicating with other drivers is important to avoid accidents and congestion.
@@blademanx yeah, but that comes with experience. I'm 42 and I know perfectly well that when someone flashes it's most likely to say you can go or to say thanks - or that you forgot your headlights 😅
I'm again just trying to point out how confusing it is for young ones with no real experience of the road and who are studying the rules and trying to get it right for their test
erin needs to look at and read signs
I think she is overwhelmed with everything needing constant attention and analysing.
