It's also really good because anyone new can click on any one of the videos and understand what is going on! And it's not even in an irritating way that he does it, even though he explains the game every video, Matt manages to do it in a way that's fresh for every video and I love that.
Periodically clearing the entire map and redoing your roads is a valid strategy, but if you do it too late you will lose while waiting for traffic to clear your bridges and motorways.

It's just disappointing how a casual player like me who got like no experience in Engineering yet and used to have a high score then got beaten in a strategic road construction game by a "Real Civil Engineer" (Oh God that's embarrassing😳)

Sorryi'm late but new idea! What if this game allowed the player 2 or even 4 lane streets. Basically allowing the same paths as the current streets however like in real life the center lane would travel fastest, or left lane for 2 lane streets. The benefit of this would be that traffic can flow a lot better in the sense that just because there is an intersection ahead or perhaps a blue car in front of a yellow car wants to turn thus slowing down the yellow car can be in the other lane and avoid slowing down. With 4 lanes this effect multiples into hopefully swift traffic similar to the motorways which currently are the fastest traffic but again only allow for a single path of traffic. I could only imagine how powerful the effect of a motorway with 4 lanes of traffic would become, especially if you could connect it to a large roundabout where the traffic could exit and go multiple central paths and to their various shops. I understand that this is a much more complicated idea than my last one however I do think it could be an addition that would truly keep the game's momentum alive. With games such as this, coming up with new ideas/challenges so players dont get bored with the game is essential if the game wants to stay alive.

I love watching your videos!! I've been playing mini motorways for a little bit and never could get past 500-800 trips before I began binging your videos. Now, thanks to ~ extreme segregation ~ I've been able to score close to 3000 trips! 😂
Got a nw idea while watching as well, so in my late arrival, I give 2 ideas today! This idea looks at an update for bridges. In the sense that perhaps they could allow the player to use the bridge on land as well to go over heavily congested traffic locations such as the center of town etc making a new road that wont have to suffer with congestion as much. We see this in daily life so why not in mini motorways!

You can’t get all your resources back instantly if there is cars already in route which makes that hard to do
