Honestly, at this point in the campaign, I think there only three people Cad knows aren't murderers, two being Veth's husband and son, and Kiri. So to reiterate, the only people Cad knows aren't murderers are either a former political prisoner of war, or children. When this adventure finally blows over, Cad deserves a long, no-murder detox Edit: Cad never even met Kiri, so really the only non-murderers he knows are a former prisoner of war, and a child that shot a crossbow bolt at a fire elemental. He needs to meet new people.
You'd hope at least some of cad's family would fall into the categories, but some of them have definitely killed before, others can't be called reasonable

Taliesin has given us so many great lines such as "life needs things to live", "help its again" and many more. Truly he is the dungeons and dragons of all time.
I just want to remind everyone that after he kept stepping into the mud and getting stuck in there a few times, someone (can't remember who, might have been Keyleth's mom) picked him up in bird form and started carrying him, but did it in a way that caused his hair to flop in his face. Cad did not have a good time on that damn island and I both love it and feel terrible for loving it, because poor Caddy doesn't deserve anything but good.

I know this is a Cad video but Laura Fucking Bailey really created a gem of a character. One who can surprise you with her heart and capacity for caring whilst being the buff blue chaos gremlin of the group rivaled only by Nott/Veth. I also love how normal her life was prior to the campaign save for Arty. An adorable but mischievous little girl who was a little lonely and sort of became a cleric by accident because this Fey loved her penchant for playful chaos
