The Mets keep finding an infielder last few years that seems to add a little bit of everything to the team whether it is base running, defense, clutch hits be it starter or bench
Inglesias, Taylor, Bader, Nimmo.....all good scrapy players. Frankie A could be a big part of the second half!. Big need is to get Pete really going with more POP. Lindor has been tremendous and should have been named the NL SS in the allstar game???

It’s his first season actually managing a team…imo he hasn’t been half bad. He’s kept the ship afloat amidst injuries, being over 10 games below .500, and navigating through a rocky bullpen and trades. The Mets are back above .500 and you’re complaining about Mendoza? Do you have any true understanding of the depth of bureaucracies you have to deal with as a team manager? I’m not saying he’s the best, he’s got a ton of room for improvement. I was definitely upset when the Mets could only tie the Nats and Pirates series’ last week. But this was a great win for the Mets and their manager.
