Old Spice is my absolute favourite scent, always reminds me of my dad when I was growing up in the UK. He used Old Spice all his life. We can’t get it now in Australia 🇦🇺
Hi Garry !! It brings back memories of my Grandfather. I don't remember much about my fathers grooming habits . I guess I blocked them out for many different reasons. It's sad you cant get it in Australia. Are there other channels on the web that might be able to get it to you? Have a great day and smooth shaves
Mama Bear’s soaps are very nice, IMO. I have the Aged Spice also and really like it. I put it in my vintage Old Spice mug as you did. Have a very Merry Christmas.
I agree !!! I have a few of her products and they are awesome. One of my favorites (besides this one) is the Sandalwood and Rose ! Have a great day and smooth shaves
Hello Deacon Gene! You've definitely tempted me with this video. My grandfather loved classic old spice and I'm trying to collect some things to remember him by as he passed away this year and he used to wet shave when I was younger. I am wondering about the soap. I am newer to wet shaving. I've only been using a DE razor for about 2 years now, but I have noticed that I prefer tallow based soaps to other "vegetarian" options (for lack of a better word). Do you find this glycerine based soap better than others? I have found cella's and rocky mountain barber company's lather to have less substance than soaps like arko and tabac. Merry Christmas from Pittsburgh, PA!
Hey Pertr !! It's been a while since I've been to PGHPA. Thanks for sharing the memory if your Grandfather. These are some none tallow soaps out there that you would be hard pressed to tell the difference. Ariana and Evans, PAA, Wet The Face and Momma Bear are great soaps. Give them a try .
@ I understand exactely what you mean. I just walk in and shave daily without preshave. Preshave in my opninion doesn’t add much if you already prepared your skin well, massage and nice warm water. Back in the days they didn’t know about such a thing. Do you always shave with preshave??
@@Shabdiscoo Mostly , my preshave is a good hot shower and a face cleaner. The only time I use a preshave treatment (oil, jell, etc) is if I am using a straight razor be it an actual straight, a shavette or a kamasori.
Love the nostalgic story Eugene! Happy holidays my friend.
You know, I'm feeling nostalgic just looking at this shave! Happy holidays to you as well.

Nice one. How many days of beard growth was this?
I try not to let more than 24 hours go between shaves. Otherwise, I start to feel "grubby". Have a great day and smooth shaves

@ good one there mate. I also don’t use preshave as it is very overrated in my opninion. Cheers🍺
