She is taking preventative actions e.g. minimising her amount of furniture and other possessions so her mother does not need to clean out too much, and go through all sorts of memories that come along with that, when she is gone. I mean, I wish she was doing well, and not feeling the need to take care of her mother in such a way way. Perhaps she is doing well given the circumstances, however those circumstances are downright gruesome!🥺
So i get the whole sacrifice for the greater good scenario however, another plan which piper brought forward made sense. “Only the source can vanquish the horsemen” well the charmed ones are strong enough to vanquish the source so they should be strong enough to vanquish the horsemen. All they needed was to have a vanquishing spell ready for when prue is returned. I get the message they were trying to tell but if you really think about it they used the wrong scenario.
The concept of the apocalypse is not something witches can stop. Even if they could vanquish THIS team, stopping the apocalypse once and for all just isn’t possible. Like Leo said at the end - ‘will they give up?’ ‘No, they’ll try harder.’ The charmed ones can’t end the concept of the apocalypse. Even if they could stop one team.
@@dmf1301 the rules of charmed were made as the writers wrote the story. While the concept of the apocalypse is something that cannot be stopped. As long as it isnt something tied to the grand design which I don’t believe the show established then it can always be stopped. Leo says a lot of things that get discredited due to the writing. Cleaners, time manipulation etc.

Suggesting that witches could affect that is like suggesting that witches should play God and use their magic to solve all human problems (which is a concept that WAS addressed in the Harry Potter books). Armageddon, the apocalypse, the end of days... the concept transcends the power of mere mortal witches. Mind you, humans can affect the apocalypse. Leo mentioned two other times the world was on the brink, remember - Hitler and the Cuban Missile Crisis. Those apocalyptic events were human driven, which means that magic - although wielded by human witches - could not even begin to stop it. Have you ever read any of the books? Book 8 "The Legacy of Merlin" actually addresses this concept, too. The 'innocent' that the Charmed ones have to save was pulled from the past - Ancient Camelot - by a Druid Sorceress, the son of the Wizard "Merlin". Phoebe falls in love with him and wants to keep him here in the present, but she has a premonition of an terrible future whereby the Spanish Armada conquered England and plunged England into very dark times. As you know, the Armada did not conquer England in the real world, and the Charmed ones eventually determined that the reason for Phoebe's premonition was that the innocent was missing from the equation - one of his descendants was allegedly a witch who helped 'influence' the events of the Spanish Armada. So by pulling him from the past before he could marry and bear any children, they would effect the future in a negative way, as in Phoebe's premonition. EDIT: The reason it took them a while to arrive at that conclusion was that the innocent himself had no powers, despite being born to a Wizard. But obviously the magic was in his genetic makeup, as a future descendant inherited the magical powers. I don't know if the books are entirely cannon - some of the main events in the TV show timeline do follow the books (like Leo and Piper's marriage and having Wyatt, and Prue dying and Piper and Phoebe finding Paige to reconstitute the Power of Three), but that could be an entirely different interpretation of how much power witches really have to influence the course of events as dictated by human beings, who have more power than witches because of the fact that we have the numbers and they don't. Whether fictional or not, witches cannot alter the course of humanity as a whole. They can save ONE human or humans from a demon or warlock, but that's not at all like altering the course of humanity and the path we choose for ourselves. Magic can't influence us in that way.
This episode is masterpiece 👑 This hourseman felt that Phoebe has something evil inside herself as producers predicted that Cole is coming,they planned that probably for the next season.
Good episode but this couldve been a part 2 I feel like it built up and they end up simply saving her because of what a glitch? I just feel it could’ve ended way better but I’ll wait til the next apocalypse I guess
