  • I am still obsessed with ALL of Doja Cat’s outfits from the 2022 ish era, so today I’m going to try to make her green sweater vest as a beginner to the world of crochet🥰 and also style it into some cute outfits💃

      Yeh this is actually the 3rd full crochet garment I made, I made little random unfinished things before so I had a bit of general stitch practice xx

      Tysm!!🥰 and sorry in advance for the essay🤣
      So for the sleeves I chained 71
      then for the vest I chained 84 + 1 which turned out to be the same as the tutorial in the description,
      But unlike the tutorial when i started decreasing the vest for the sleeve holes i only decreased 2 and I found that to be enough.
      Also you might want to start your decreases slightly earlier because my sleeve holes weren’t the exact same size as my sleeves so i had to just leave a bigger gap in the sides of my vest. So 🚨don’t🚨 connect your back and front vest pieces until you check your sleeve size against it, you can’t really tell at 5:07 but i had to leave extra sleeve hole space. This sounds crazy i hope it makes some kind of sense 🤣 I’m sure you’ll be able to make a better job of it than me!!
      Basically follow the vest tutorial in the description except when it’s time to make decreases only make 2 and maybe try making them earlier so the sleeve pieces have enough space. However if you don’t make the decreases earlier, just ensure that your sleeve gap is big enough before you join the front and back together.
      Jeez I am the worst at instructions but yeh those are the chain lengths 🤣❤️

    What hook size did you use and how much yarn? Maybe I missed when you said it but if I make one, i'll tag you girlie

      @gia-clare  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      no I totally forgot to mention! So I used a 5mm hook for everything (except for connecting the pieces where I used a 4mm hook) each ball of wool was 100g and I used 1 and a bit so I’d say like 125g. Yes please tag me I would love to see yours!!😍💕
