- It’s our first port day on the Norwegian Breakaway and we are in Cozumel! And we’re excited because we are at the port that we have never been to before. We have always docked at Puerto Maya but this time we are downtown at Puerta Langosta. It’s fun to explore a new are and feels like a brand new stop to us even though we have been to Cozumel multiple times!

That’s the port carnival used when we cruised back in 2011 and that was our port. We
sail carnival last June and used the other port, which was just ok. Super awesome vlog! Thanks for sharing! ❤️

I don't know why ppl are so scared of cruises, all I hear is what if something happens to the ship. It safer to take a cruise than drive on the road with all these nuts.
It's a bit more expensive, but going solo on a cruise isn't bad either... If you're outgoing then you'll make a bunch of new friends easily... I say try it at least one time and if its not your cup of tea, at least you had a cruise...

Love Cozumel and NCL!! Im a tequila drinker amd did the excursion thru NCL that Jose Cuervo has. IT. WAS. AWESOME!! Very informative and incredible prices at the store there. Lunch, a huge mango margarita and a show by locals was included. Was great.
I know yall have been to Cozumel many times but if yall are ever looking for something different to do go do the save a sea turtle excursion. It was the best! You get to dig the baby sea turtles out who didnt make it and release them then they take you to a Mayan village reenactment and you get to learn alot about the native island!
we used that port twice before on Carnival but that was 10 and 15 years ago. It is great to be able to go straight to downtown or grab a cab and hit one of the areas for fun or relaxation
I love the flea market shopping in Cozumel.
I learned a trick from my dentist. Clean your camera lens with Listerine, its stops the fog up 🤗

Your dentist should stick to cleaning teeth. Listerine is not a good option for cleaning a camera lens....sugars & dyes etc. I would not recommend this solution. Just my opinion.
@@frankcarlone5130 ever wondered why and how a dentist can "stick to cleaning teeth"? Their glass/mirrored instruments are wiped with Listerine so that they can see. If our polluted/salty/chemical infused air doesn't destroy a camera lens then Listerine isn't going to hurt. Geez.

Had lots of fun at Senor Frogs there! Camera tip...put your cameras in zip lock bags before leaving the ship and give them a few minutes to warm up once outside before taking them out. The fog on the lens won't hurt it but the same thing is happening on the electronics inside the camera. I love your videos!
Thanks for the view. I went there in Feb. 2017 it took forever to get out of the port shopping area. Its a maze to try and keep you there! We walked out to Margaritaville, but sadly it was under construction. We ended up back at Hooters. Which I would never eat at if I were home. We had to go there because my parents couldn't walk any more. You have to watch out for those coconuts falling on your head! We passed by the MEga too, but we didn't go inside.

We docked there last summer on the Carnival Freedom. We had a blast at Señor frogs!

My family and I was on the Carnival Miracle which was one of those ships in port at that time. That port where you all got off was much nicer that the one where we were docked. My husband and I are talking of going on the Norwegian Encore when it is in Miami, which will be a first for us - we normally are Carnival people.
I love Cozumel! I always get off the tourist area although nice, a few blocks away I find better deals. My favorite barber shop is fabulous. Best haircuts ever! Have you guys been to El Machete? The tacos and guacamole are insane. I can't wait to visit in July. Great video

I've watched a few of your videos because my wife and I are getting ready for our first cruise in April. As I watch them I wonder why do I like these two and you finally make the comment. Alexandria Louisiana, that's where I was born!

My wife and I were in New Orleans earlier this year. We drove up just outside of Alexandria to visit family. My mother's side was originally from Ferriday. But most of them have dispersed between Texas, Louisiana and Arizona.
Our Disney Fantasy cruise stopped at that port! Vendors were very pushy, Cozumel has beautiful beaches.
Aww you missed the jungle guy statue with the sword...he's real. Caught a glimpse of him by the port shops on here .If you stop even for a second to look at him closer, he moves.
Florida is at it’s coolest time of the year November till April....then the heat’s back on....

I can't wait to get back to Cozumel in September or October of this year. I'm gunna be going on the carnival valor. My parents are going on a cruise soon with two of my younger sisters and then on another "secret getaway" is June for their 10 year anniversary. I have a feeling there going on a cruise but mom refuses to tell when on what ship and where they are going. It is literally killing me not knowing!! Question: have you ever been to progresso ( Yucatan peninsula)? I went on my first cruise and enjoyed it very much.

Oh this cruise is on my top to do in the next couple of years!! It is a different experience in that most of the crew are local Hawaiians, there is no casino on board and a few other differences. But it is a beautiful ship!! I am trying to get my aunt and uncle to take this cruise so they can see four islands instead of just one.

I live in Florida and know it”s really humid here,but like you said,nothing compared to Louisiana.Went to New Orleans,could not believe the difference..Instant hair frizz when you leave the hotel.lol...
And for some reason New Orleans is the worst! We live in Alexandria but when we go to NOLA we notice the humidity is even worse... maybe it’s having the river through there???
Hi Alisa. Watching this older video to catch some hints. We are going on a western Caribbean cruise in March, and got to thinking about the various ports(docks) at each place. Our itinerary doesn’t say which dock we will be at. Can we find out or is this a spur of the moment decision of the ship’s?
I'm with you Jase I'm a wing man, being an Aussie eat them all the time but have to say had the best wings in a little sports bar in Houston...heaven on a stick they were...….beer cheaper than soft drink, must be a man in charge of marketing...…..

You’ve said before that we should order room service breakfast the night before port - is this video before or after you recommending that?
The MEGA is great for shopping when we went to a timeshare in Cabo San Jose Mexico.
For a fun time of people watching, go into a MEGA at 4PM, and watch all the sun burned Americans come in and fill their grocery carts with alcohol.
They also have Costco in Mexico and your membership is valid in Mexico.

I used to live in plauceville it was about an hour from Alexandria, funny you'll don't really have much of an accent from there.

Do you suggest punta langosta or punta maya? Which one is better?
One Carnival ship looks like the Horizon or Vista the other one hmmm .
So we are not drinkers so so we didnt get the alcohol package but did pay for the soda drinks per person. We also paid the gratuities upfront and we prepaid for our Excursion to the beach. I've been trying to purchase everything up front so all we really have to worry about is spending money as we are 8n a budget. We do not plan on hitting the casino either which I know is an extra cost. We don't plan on doing any special dining or anything that requires additional funds. We leave this Saturday the 23rd of February 2019 and come back on the 28th. Is there any other hidden costs that we should know about and be prepared for or should we be pretty much good to go. We are trying to keep our costs down and taking some of the stress of what we drink and gratuities out of the worry by paying them in advance. How much money do you think we would need with all that being paid for our 5-day Cruise for us three adults and our four-year-old. This is a special trip as we are taking Mom on her first cruise and this is my first cruise but my husband has been on one before many years ago.
Could you walk to this shopping area from Carnival port. Or is it too far away.?
Was there on the GETAWAY. You can walk to their supermarket from the ship...worth the adventure too...we got our vanilla there 20 pesos so. 1 USD...also interesting store on second level from street near ship too.....you also pass many side street shops along the way...

It is a really cool area! No, it’s too far to walk but you could take a cab there.
Good Morning EECC I have been following you guys since you started sailing, interior cabins. Way back then 2016 you said we like interior cabins; However since you guys have come a Long ways I am guessing Balcony's are pretty cool too? By the way I started sailing on the small Carnival class ship you see coming in a "Fantasy Class ship". Carnival has a back pool, we have .....he said we, like we carnival employee. Who stays on the ship and explains sitting levels on the ship and details about ship. Employees do!!
Why would a ‘Carnival’ employee be on a Norwegian ship and making videos about how much fun they are having with NCL??? Umm, no we are not paid by anyone.
