Heya all. Just wanted to put up here that as this comment section blows up, with some great feedback, but also not so great stuff, I'm stepping back from that. There's a lot of division and hate, which is kind of sad considering that's exactly what the song is warning us about. I also realized I may have been contributing to it, I got baited, maybe even defensive, and that's not what I want to do. I also do not delete comments, I made mistakes, I own them. If I don't respond right away, or at all, that's why. I appreciate everyone who comes here, watches, shares, and comments. Even the negative ones help out small channels like mine so thank you. What I also do is admit when I don't know something. I'm sorry I didn't fill this review with all the things you want to hear. Some think it is bravery to just say whatever the popular stance is with whatever tribe or party you're affiliated with. That's fine. I'm the less brave soul willing to admit that when I do not have enough information about a topic, I tend to not speak like I'm fully informed. If you come to my reviews expecting me to say what you want to hear, or shout out slogans that you think are important, I'm afraid I'm not that guy. There are plenty of reactors out there who will parrot whatever is popular, or controversial for clicks. Have a blessed and happy New Year, and let's try to make our little part of the world a better place if we can.

So I noticed Iyah May's song on my YT feed this morning and decided to listen because I've been pretty heavily involved in the protest of the genocide she's speaking of. Your review came up and decided to watch and am so glad I did brother you are spot on. I have been into drumming and music and try to do a lil writing since I was a kid. I'm a young Gen X'er who grew up in the 80-90's times so I agree I would love to hear Iyah with some rock behind her. When I was a small child we heard Blondie "Call Me" on the radio and for some reason I just feel the same vibe imagining Iyah with a rock track.. I liked and subscribed and hope to learn more about your work.

I'm from Peru, I'm not a pop guy but that song is musically adictive and amazing, and the lyrics are disruptive, ironicaly so punk and contracultural. Woke culture and the satanic left are destroying the world and the humanity today, their vision and all their flags and struggle are anti-human. This artist are result an reaction of the humanity that resist to die in karmageddon. That today this song was viral and mainstream is a great new. They want to break our spirit and divide us further and censor those who warn about it. Biggest times is coming if we donthe right things. Great analysis, God bless you.
de acuerdo en casi todo. pero lo de tirarle a la izquierda y al woke, sin mencionar el fascismo y despojo capitalista de la derecha me parece demasiado intencional (ya que también tienen banderas y mentalidad muy inhumanas)...
I am from another, much older generation. Here is the work of an artist with human conscience and social values that honor this generation... She has the courage to say what many are afraid to say... And every word of this song is true👍 This song will mark this generation and joins all the PROTEST SONGS such as "get up, stand up" by Bob Marley and "People get Ready" & "The times they Are a'Changin" written by Bob Dylan and many others on slavery, civil rights; The assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. continues to resonate, and his legacy has been honored through the music of groups such as U2, Queen, Ben Harper, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Public Enemy and Will-I-am. protest against the Vietnam War; “Eve of Destruction” & “Ohio” by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young which denounced the massacre of student protesters at Kent State in 1970. Asimbonanga Johnny Clegg's song against apartheid to name just a few of the most famous. People often forget that music is much more than a means of obtaining pleasure. In all generations of protest, music has played a key role in defining injustice, the fight for equality and the desire for peace. Music defines social and historical values... This young artist an example to model! Don't give up the fight girl✌
I've always believed that many reggaeton, rap, and hip-hop and rock artists today have lost touch with their roots. Instead of talking about life on the streets or addressing social issues, they focus solely on flaunting the luxury they enjoy thanks to songs that lack real substance. However, Iyah May, with *Karmaggedon*, proves that there are still artists with integrity. Despite contracts, money, and fame, she chose to stay true to her message, her word, and her essence. This stands in stark contrast to the majority, who often let the industry sway them and betray their principles for convenience. Her example is inspiring and reminds us what truly matters in music.
Welcome to the channel everyone. Lot of new faces here. Quick note, this song is about how division and hate are destroying us and how those in power are perpetuating that. I don't like to remove comments, but there's been a couple already who completely missed the point of this song. See you all in the next review, much love!
