her design is really interesting! i love the human anatomy coupled with her still having horse hooves, i can’t recall any other designs i’ve seen that do that…
Yeah it makes her stand out. She’s also described as standing on her legs (hoofs?) and trotting around on all 4 like a horse specifically when she’s panicking, which is funny to imagine.
I'm kinda surprised that Nanako even had a remake design to begin with (granted, it's a comparatively rough draft). But you're right that Seven's kinda unnecessary as one of the major changes with Ciel is that she's no longer a solo agent not just because of having Noel as her actual kouhai, but having Mario as her acting superior. Maybe the only chance of seeing her as an character is by pestering Arihiko again...?
It makes me wonder if we’ll ever see some sort of Kagetsu Tohya adaptation, whether that be a remake or something else. They didn’t put Len in the remake and with all of the new characters I doubt even with red garden we’ll get all the answers. I’d love to see an interaction between Nanako and Noel, you’ve got a lot of potential there. While I like the remake having to throw out a lot of the cool extra stuff sucks
@@Drzuul Let's see... Kouma's in TL, but Len & Nanaya merely cameos in it. While this means that we probably won't get a straight KT remake, Nasu has _some_ plans for them in the making. Besides, we're already halfway through the far side wait (hopefully). A straight KT remake is gonna make "her" return to MB an even longer wait, something not even a 2nd "3 charas every 6 months" season of UNI2 DLC can soften a blow with.
Yeah she is pretty strange. Anyways can I just say I really like what you did during the whole “Who is Nanako” section, if this was any other youtuber I guarantee it would be a black screen with visual novel gameplay over it. But the presentation you’ve gone with at least makes it somewhat visually appealing, and I like that very cool.
I know that people already have problems with reading visual novels to the point where they have a stigma associated with them. So when presenting them In these videos I knew I had to do something to make it interesting. I’m still experimenting with the format to be honest but it’s nice to see people notice my efforts.
@@Drzuul I mean visual novels have always had a very specific audience, you would have to commit a lot of time for some of them and most people nowadays don't even have the time to fully commit. Also like the most action you'll get is clicking the mouse button or tapping enter/the spacebar to advance forwards through text, and occasionally making a choice which will make you end up somewhere. This type of vidja gaem is pretty hard to recommend to somebody unless you already know they like them to begin with... But that being said I hope you refine your new format and it ends up being a success.
@@msyon. That's because the notion that visual novels were ever meant to be "video games" is very much incorrect. They only *technically* fit that monicker because they're digital and interactive. Actual gameplay in visual novels can be a thing, but are not a requirement since they're there mostly just for flavor in the vast majority of cases, and I feel like most people just don't get this and unfarily lump them as "boring games with no gameplay", when when in reality they're just "virtual interactive books", a story being told in a different form of media (hence why they're called visual NOVELS). Mind you, I'm not implying people have to like or even care about VNs, as I know not everyone is into extensive reading, especially in this day and age and about such nieche topics, but it's just really frustrating when every internet user you come across spout the same exact thing over and over without even trying to understand what they're even talking about.
I wonder if she'll show up in red garden it could happen if Nasu adds mahoyo style side stories as a nice send off. Maybe he'll ressurrect the tohno family con game from kagetsu tohya but this time with all the new character involved too.
I would be all for more side stories like in Kagetsu Tohya they’re a lot of fun. I’m sure they have more than enough ideas considering the amount of time it’s taken for this remake to get off the ground.
Regarding a possible appearance in Fate GO: Considering how the kara no kyoukai FGO crossover event made Ryougi Shiki both the Welfare Giveaway servant and the Banner 5 Star Gacha Servant (alternate personality Void Shiki) and that fgo wouldn't add another Kara no Kyoukai character as a rollable 4 star Gacha until the rerun of the event years later; compounding the preceding information with the appearance of another Familiar character (Renies's Trimmau) being relegated to a sprite on another character... It's unlikely that Seven would become a summonable servant at best being referenced in a hypothetical Ciel Servant's Animations such as using a skill or an extra attack. On the other hand if there was a crossover that featured Ciel then Seven would very likely receive a Craft Essence (an equippable artwork that applies a buff to the equipped servant) most likely of her eating Carrots, and she might even get a story dialogue sprite but that is likely the best you could hope for from such a minor side character.
Sooooo. I get that Seven is a cool early edition of what would come to be pseudo-servants in Fate. However, I failed to notice the part where Nasu made said spirits switch diets from bags of carrots to that of c*m
Nasu activated his freak but in all seriousness the food for energy thing is present in fate/stay night. Saber is constantly eating to conserve energy if shirou was a proper magus he’d be able to share his energy easily but he’s not so they had to get “inventive.” Imo it’s really silly but trust me bro it was the only way they could win !
@Drzuul Damn, things woulda gotten crazy if Shirou summoned male Arthur instead. Someone should make that an alternate route. "Fate/Stay Bi-lateral" or something
I read the Nanako chan SOS story as if she wants to seduce Arihiko, but if you don't take that, Len gets the ol' jizz magic in the same visual novel, so it's really been in the lore forever, not to mention the magic shenanigans with sex with Hisui, Kohaku and Ciel, all type moon visual novels have magic sex, which is something almost all real mystical/occult practices believe in to some extent
Isn't Nanako similar to servants because in F/SN servants are Heroic Spirits crammed into a familiar vessel? My Type-Moon lore is quite rusty but I guess they're really kind of the same beings
It’s more of a fun observation. Nanako is shoved into her vessel though, so I guess she would be a worse servant, possibly even the worst of all! that count for something.

I'd actually really like that happening. My boy Arihiko deserves some more screen time and relevance, even if it's just a side-story.

Nanako's remake design is the biggest downgrade excluding roa's
Yeah I don’t know what they were cooking with the new roa design

I like Seven's new design, but how weird to give her that and not an appereance in the remake.
