Almost the same as Wollongong, except that Remco' took 2 golden Olympics in Paris and in Wollengong he took Bronze in ITT and Gold in the roadrace. Progress, I would say.
Remco missed ITT gold in 2022 because of having a jetlag after flying late to Australia directly after his win in the Vuelta. With an extra week of rest, he would have been a lot stronger.
It was indeed a remake of Wollongong: The Belgian team with Remco as leader were perfect in 2022 and were perfect in 2024. Why change a winning team and a winning strategy. If that is boring for other countries, I understand. For us Belgians, it was quite exciting. I am sure the French found it exciting too.
Is Pidcock difficult to work with or does he see that Ineos is being poorly run and he's frustrated by it. He a young, talented superstar of the sport and needs clear, strong management that can handle him. He strikes me as smart guy and not one to suffer fools. Is all this coming from the Netflix series? Seems the Netflix reality show/over dramatization is harmful for some riders and teams.
well what should he do, one less team mate, WVA only Covering him. Belgium had 2 stronger mates and one more in total and the other top favorite only focused on Covering MVDP. Only thing he could have done is have more Power and drop WVA but they are so closly matched that it would have take another race situation for MVDP to recover to load more attacks
Team radios would have made no difference

@@patrickmestdagh5378 Yes, he would have won two times gold as well.

I can't believe that you were hating on GVA Scott.

Don't know the guy personally but the one in the middle at the bottom isn't my kind of guy, he guesses, doesn't know his facts and what a moaner.
The Olympics but only because of the double.

It’s terrible when you don’t get the drugs mix right 🤣🤣🤣
Why do you even follow cycling, if you believe that?
