The Bogner Uber Ultra EL34 is a HIGH GAIN MONSTER, and I can't wait for you to hear it! On this episode of Meet the Machines, Uncle Ben Eller here is gonna take you on a guided tour through this brutality work station. Whatever your high gain flavor is, you can probably create it with the Uber Ultra!!!
I cooked up a couple snazzy little ditties for you all to enjoy. One is a little hairy, the other is a little scary! All tones are straight into the amp, no pedals required. Its insane! Might be the most flexible high gain amp ever.

That's how I feel as well. Even his more "brutal" example here sounds like 80s shred stuff. Which is honestly amazing. I love that. Gives it its own unique character. I want to have this just to find out, if I can get a "what if Racer X was a 2020s Deathcore band" kinda sound out of it.

As someone that’s been playing over 30 years, most of my favorite amps I’ve had for 20+ years and while they were very expensive for me at first, if you find one you bond with then over time, the cost was a bargain if it’s a keeper.

What I love about Bogner is the ability to shape gain so you can get it just right. They are extremely versatile and useful amps. Not all gain is the same. And it's not just about having a lot of gain on tap. It's all the directions you can push it with a Bogner. They are also extremely well built.
When you started playing that Mastodon-like riffs, I started headbanging.

I tried the Ecstasy pedal as soon as it hit the market here in L.A. around '89 or so. I was very impressed. I tried the full-on amp iteration in the early 90s. I was already a fan of Boogie, Engl, Rivera and Soldano, but the Ecstasy was on another level. I absolutely loved it. Every serious guitarist owes it to themself to try these high-end amps. Even if you don't buy one (no, I still haven't owned a Bogner), you'll understand their capabilities and incredible design.
That's the blessing and curse for us guitarists these days, there are actually no bad amps anymore. In the past you could choose between a handful of manufacturers, but nothing more.
Nowadays even the transistor amps are incredibly good. Unfortunately, the prices of some manufacturers are so outrageously high that the joy is immediately taken away.

I have a VERY large amp collection and my Uberschall Twin Jet Purple Mod is one of my absolute favorites. SOOOO much gain but so articulate.

Awesome vid dude! When I got mine, it quickly became one of my all time favorite amps. So versatile and just an overall fantastic amp.

Friedman was saying that Bogner would show up to the NAMMs in a see threw plastic suit and no clothes underneath. He said everyone was drunk back in the 90's at these shows.
I got the kt88 variant...I legitimately am so thrilled and scared of the damn thing! It's one hell of an amp!
at 3.3K, I'm waiting for one to fall off a truck. Now I have a Line 6 DT50 which was designed by Bogner, he pretty much shrugged it off with "well they like it" lol. And I bought it used.
I'm entirely still stuck on "smoke dope and mash rope" -- never heard it before but absolutely love it.

I don’t know that the Uber will ever get as loose and tubby as a Rec…. Hmm… I may have to try some things now. Doom mode, lots of bass and depth, maybe turn that density control up… it’s worth a try!
