Wowwwww. Awesome👊😎 I want to move to America, u guys have a completely different away of living your life. Starting from this painting job. Here in England, there is no way I could find someone to do this kind of job. Well done mate. Amazing job.
There are several components to doing a pro job. One place I discovered which successfully combines these is the Magic Painter Method (check it out on google) definately the most incredible course that I have ever seen. Check out this interesting resource.
@@customspraymods hey.. Did u mix the thermo directly in the paint? I have some i jus ordered but it says let it sit in reducer for 24hrs.. Which eventually i would mix into the paint that way..
Looks like u were one of the first to do this... has the life of the paint in terms of how many times you can do it back and forth?changed over the past 4 yrs?
Awesome rendering. Love this effect, but wonder now if it would be possible to effect on cold water only, like reverted effect. Imagine your car or motorbike painting suddenly reacting under the rain... !
hi! I've watched your videos. and i'm loving it. I just started to learn how to spray paint. i've always wanted to know how to work with powders. i've never gone playing with 2ks or pearls or heat changing pigments because I dont know how to work with them. and there's nobody to teach me here. also, not everything is readily available here in the Philippines. would appreciate any help or knowledge :) ps: love your works!
That's the most bad-ass thing I have ever seen I love I also love to watch you paint stuff I want to learn more about it I'm already getting into the hydro dipping I love it I think it's amazing I'm still wanting to learn how to do the candy paint when the hydro dip in the clear coat
Really liking this paint... What is the temp rating on the paint before it goes clear? Can you get the temp paint in other colors than black? Asking because I am building an electric guitar and I think this type of paint would put it over the top. Let me know when you can. Thanks
Another great video! Do you have any experience with the durability of the heat-changing color? It's definately a very impressive effect and professional job! :)
I would love to see this tried on some exhaust pipes on a cruiser motorcycle. Would be bad ass on flat black pipes that changed to red skulls or demons when the bike warms up.
What brand of paint is the black heat changing paint? this is awesome! Do you think clearcoating with Cerakote would affect its ability to change or damage the paint since Cerakote needs to be baked on at 250 degrees for several hours? (Playing with the idea of doing something like this to a ar15 build)
I'll ask the question here too. Why do 90% doing water printing (we see on youtube) do it bare hands ? genuine question... is the activator not toxic ? is it not a pain to clean the paint off your hands rather than having disposable gloves ?
Hello great job. But several times I have reviewed your video and did not understand the last two components . What is a Heat Changing Paint ??? what added thermochromatic ? And what a satin clear ??? (this varnish is what ? ) Thanks ;)
Is general engine bay heat enough to activate the "heat" element to this? Also, Has it been tested how long this heat reactive paint keeps it's properties?
Hello budy, how are you? mano This here in Brazil is a very good news, you can explain how to make this painting, and the material .... The part of the painting by immersion I already knew but this painting that change with the heat is very good .. I await a response from you, and thank you for the video ..
So I love this but my only question would be, I love the design but I can only see it if I pour hot water over it not if rains or something it has to be hot water...The concept is amazing but feels like a one trick pony you show off at a very specific occasion
If you had heat changing paint and you parked your car in the sun on a hot day, would the whole car change to reveal the graphics without the use of hot water?
do you have to let the paints/primer/ base coats completely dry between coats? How long do you let it dry before dipping it and then after you've dipped it.
Obrigado.
question, the colors look a bit cloudy after the application of that chromatic paint and the clear, is that just the lighting or does the chromatic paint take some of the clarity out of the color beneath it?
Hi,could you please tell me what should be the base coat for exhaust pipe ?, should it be ceramic coating first then Acrylic base for hydrodipping then on that acrylic base thermochromic paint ?
by far the coolest thing I've seen done with paint. You sir, are a genius
David Changet thanks
Wowwwww. Awesome👊😎

I like this idea. It will give me a reason to carry a flask of hot water everywhere. I always needed a good reason to carry one.
Moron. He was joking. You need to turn down your comment-reactive anger texts. We all hate people like you.
I don't know how many times I have watched this video and your others. You've got talent and passion man! All evident in the vids. Learned a ton.
That's actually mad!
Any chance of a follow up video of how the rocker cover looks once installed on the SR?
Alastair Coles i
Love that heat changing black paint it looks like magic
You definitely have to make more vids like this you’re the only person I’ve seen whole day that did the hydro dip plus thermochromic
Very trick. Wasn't sure how it would turn out while watching the process but it looks incredible at the end.
Nice work!
would love to see that in action actually on the engine

Thats an irrelevant answer
ya find the link I'm sure with this paint they're posting it somewhere
Thank you for sharing this, great stuff. This would be awesome to see the paint change like a mood stone also.
Anyone remember the Hot Wheels toys that would change color with water?
first thing i thought of. haha
Yes just clicked this for my boys they have them and love them..
4DIYers i had the carwash track and two cars
Yeah. I had 2, over 30 years ago. Still got them!
I had the carwash set
Awesome, i learn how to paint by watching your vids, thanks for sharing
Greetings from Mexico
this is some next lvl shit right here
Thanks man.. I loved the look of every stage but how it turned out is so cool.
ur obviously a millennial if you think thats next level.
question, my buddie wants mr to dip his intake manifold and im not sure if i can use basic paints or do i need special paint?
@@customspraymods hey.. Did u mix the thermo directly in the paint? I have some i jus ordered but it says let it sit in reducer for 24hrs.. Which eventually i would mix into the paint that way..
@@bossjosephs8883 I did mix it directly into the paint, but mixing it in thinners first is the best way to do it. I do that now.
Looks like u were one of the first to do this... has the life of the paint in terms of how many times you can do it back and forth?changed over the past 4 yrs?

creative and inspiring, can't get anything more from a youtube video, thanks. great workout music too
That is COOL, if you painted a car the way painted this valve cover would it change color in rain or in the sun .?
That is really cool. I commend those with these talents.
I remember having a Toy Ferrari when i was kid, was Red when cold poured hot water on it turned Yellow and that was over 20 years back now.
your real good at what you do bro!
Just crazy! Awesome job
Really amazing. Can this be done on the body of the car?
Does the black cover it up again once it cools down?
This is ....... insanely good job.
Oh you killed this one. At first I was like what the ,and you said hear paint . Nice real nice
Good stuff man, should do more of these honestly
That's the most bad-ass thing I have ever seen I love I also love to watch you paint stuff I want to learn more about it I'm already getting into the hydro dipping I love it I think it's amazing I'm still wanting to learn how to do the candy paint when the hydro dip in the clear coat
really good idea that was :)
have you worked with any glow in the dark paints at all?
Yes I have mate. th-cam.com/video/sEOI9qE9k6E/w-d-xo.html
I may not be correct but I think that qualifies as badass
This would look incredible on motorcycle exhaust pipes.
GreatSmithanon or in engine bikes yah??
On a gun.
That is sick.. whats the status of the engine, does the graphics last with all the heat emitting from the engine or does it fade or burnout?
Killed it! This turned out sick AF!
Thanks mate.

nice man! havent seen it done with hydo graphics before man, just airbrushing but that hydro graphics is the way to go!
Love the colour and the pattern :)
Another great video! Do you have any experience with the durability of the heat-changing color? It's definately a very impressive effect and professional job! :)
AMAZING WORK
with all that paint u could do the whole car ;) good job that looks gourgeus
Excellent job man.
2 year old video and that is still fucking sick as hell. bad ass
man you are one awesome dude I wish I could be as good as your brother
Barbecue Grill companies should use this as a safety feature.
That is the coolest thing I ever did see wow awesome job
Nice job mate
that was crazy bro! that's so awesome! next level for sure. u got skill.
that guys *NASTY*! so many applications so many
love this! do you have to use a hydrograph compound for the pattern or can you paint right over an existing 2 tone paint job?
no way! This what I wanted to do with my Sr Rocker cover! might hit you up for the next one :)
I would love to see this tried on some exhaust pipes on a cruiser motorcycle. Would be bad ass on flat black pipes that changed to red skulls or demons when the bike warms up.
that was so freking dope man
Beautiful job!

What do you mix the thermochromic pigment powder with? And what are the percentages?
Baddass. Great job man and great video
I'll ask the question here too. Why do 90% doing water printing (we see on youtube) do it bare hands ? genuine question... is the activator not toxic ? is it not a pain to clean the paint off your hands rather than having disposable gloves ?
Julien Dev probably because most of them are spray painters. They tend to choose speed and comfort over safety.
That is some great work!!! Amzing
Hello great job. But several times I have reviewed your video and did
not understand the last two components . What is a Heat Changing Paint
??? what added thermochromatic ? And what a satin clear ??? (this
varnish is what ? ) Thanks ;)
Thermochromatic ink is a type of dye that changes color when temperatures increase or decrease.
Satin finishes have a matte clear coat.
I just sprayed that powder in urethane intercoat clear...came out very clumpy...what do you mix yours in to have it come out so nice?
Is general engine bay heat enough to activate the "heat" element to this? Also, Has it been tested how long this heat reactive paint keeps it's properties?
Rafael Gonzalez yes engine bay will change the colour. Check out the date of this video mid 2017 it still looks and works exactly the same.
customspraymods what do u mix the black thermo pigment with ? And also in what ratio ?
Thanks!
Lovely job man !
This is awesome brother
Wickedly awesome..... This is so cool.

ohhh...so UV kills the thermodynamic paint eh? too bad... btw FANTASTIC work, sir!
This is fantastic. I just sent you guys an email regarding an application Id like to try this on. I hope it doesnt go to spam
Dayum thats bad ass mate!!
Damn that's awesome! Great video!
Nice! Now let's see a whole car with that heat paint.
This is great! I wish I could do this to my motorcycle engine.
Why cant you?
Does the heat changing color last long for a year?
It'd be dope if a plasti dip compound (version) could be made.....would be more accessible for a DIYer like myself lol
It would be pretty cool if you would do something to make the letters stand out.
Hello I'm from Brazil! Which products should I use?
Farkin sick! I'm doin it!
Olá.

this is some crazy shit..next gen stuff..great job done..excites me to have 1 done..nice vid too..
Just out of curiosity,is it normal hot water which you put on to get the decal?I mean after all coats to get tha hidden vinyl!😊
Charuka Abeysinghe the paint changes at 30 degrees C. So anything at that temp will turn it clear.
Ever thought about painting brake calipers like this? How would they hold up?
Eli Roberts yes great idea. Maybe on the Speed T project bike.
Do you have a website where you can get step by step instructions of the entire process?
you are so sick dude it's unreal. new subscriber by the way
Brandon Duckworth thanks man. Trying to upload new vids.
ok, can you paint my motorcycle helmet with this? Would the sun's "heat" cause the changing? Let me know...
Awesome Video
what did u mix with thermochromic pigment.. and what was the quantity?
Gonna try paint this on my whole car 1969 amc javelin just don't know what colors yet
The thermochromic powder it must be put in the varnish ??
Hey so would the the temperature it takes to change its color have to be extremely hot? And when changed how long can it last clear
Is there such thing as White thermal paint that turns clear?
Great video, is it possible to have the pdf link. Thanks
Mate you need to have a transparent bonnet for this beauty :-)
Do you apply the thermochromatic paint directlly after WTP? Or need spray some clear before?
question, the colors look a bit cloudy after the application of that chromatic paint and the clear, is that just the lighting or does the chromatic paint take some of the clarity out of the color beneath it?
yes it does give a cloudy look to the layer underneath.
Hi,could you please tell me what should be the base coat for exhaust pipe ?,
should it be ceramic coating first then Acrylic base for hydrodipping then on that acrylic base thermochromic paint ?
Next video need to be the hood pleaseeee
hello as it is called black paint giving in the last layer
Dude you are the man thats awesome
