Joe Hart was never underrated. In his prime, from 2010-2014 he was regarded as one of the best goalies in the world. The problem with Hart is that he crashed and burned so, so quickly. He fizzled out before age 30, which is rare for world-class goalies. Cech, Van De Sar, Casillas, Buffon.... these are all keepers who played at the top level into their late 30s and even 40s.
