2023 "Circle" by Barnert Preschool Fantastics

From the earliest days of Barnert Temple Preschool, our graduating "Fantastic Fours" class (referred to as "The Fantastics") has performed this song at their Preschool graduations. The original song was written by Harry Chapin. Sara Losch, Barnert Temple's Preschool Director from 1989-2022 revised the lyrics to reflect the experiences of our kids and their parents during their time at our Preschool.
The first graduating class in 1992 performed this song on the very bimah you see in this video. Because of construction scheduled to begin in fall 2023 to update our interior spaces, this is the last class that will perform this song on this particular bimah, making this year's performance extra meaningful.
This fall, Barnert Temple will break ground on the largest construction project since we built our beautiful school over 30 years ago.
Our newly renovated and modernized sanctuary will offer a more inspiring and accessible worship space. Additionally, our upgraded social spaces will help create a warm and inviting atmosphere for community gatherings, where our children and adults can engage in meaningful celebration and Jewish learning.
