P LOCKS for President..... love that sampler offset P LOCKING , it’s great with re patterning drum loops....plus the synth wave shape hyper morphing. 1nce again, Superb tutorial Ben.
Step auditioning is a new thing to me with Drambo. The closest thing Ive used to P locks would be Korgs motion recording. This is so much more obviously.
brother Drambo is awesome. Honestly, was playing around with the Polyend Tracker...and to be frank...as romantic as it is, but Drambo is just way more powerful...I keep waiting for a master recorder for performances, with stems. I don't see how it would be so hard to implement...kind of the only thing that's missing for me really.
I agree, stems recording is a big gap. I’ve made due with screen recordings but I think for more serious users it’s a must. That said, this next update will have some really powerful features that will show why other areas have been prioritized over stems. All in good time :)
@@benrichards4554 I can understand. :) I hope it’s coming soon tho ☺️ What about you? Have you released anything you made in Drambo? I actually published my first Single, with the instrumental bit coming from my Drambo JAM :) super happy about it!
Can the instruments be saved with the P LOCK scene in the instruments , so that the p lock sequence is triggered and held till keys release... or could you have a sequencer in the instrument to play out those p locks as part of its sound....
There are CV sequencers that you can currently add in for this sort of thing, but only be used as a modulation source. Not quite as direct as a p-lock.
Thanks a ton for these videos Ben, Drambo is an absolute beast and these videos have helped me dig deeper into it.
Thanks for all of your tutorials. You've helped me get my head around this beast of an app. You are an excellent instructor!

Nice infos here , learned some new tricks. Wouldn’t hate if you could p lock morph slider positions some day!
Excellent and very thorough - thx!
Excellent! Thank you : )

Me? Nope, never released anything official, just what’s here and Instagram.
You should share your single!

Nah, I didn’t really address this at all in the tut, but plocks are tied to the pattern/sequencer. No way to save the plocks into the rack itself.
Ben Richards just thinking if the synth has an automation Lane, for that expression , to be part of the sound... thanks
