Octane hitbox is larger than the actual car, that means the box hits the ball before the car does, that makes octane the most overpowered car because you can't exactly predict when the car touches the ball. Technically the octane is most likely to win kickoffs and 50s only because the hitbox it touches the ball earlier than any other car while being as fast as the others. That is the reason why almost every pro player uses the car and why i personally thing its really unfair and do not appreciate it.
good thing literally every single player has the octane then huh! edit: also i dont really know what you mean.. all the cars are mostly larger than their hitboxes on all sides, including the octane. The front and back both stick outside the hitbox... and in the area where the car sits INSIDE the hitbox (the top front) on the octane... the same can be said about every single car in the game. Regardless.. we're talking about pixels here. The difference between the cars is extremely miniscule.
@@Mogzrl yes i know it's not that much of a problem, the thing that makes it bad though is we only see octanes or fennecs in our games now and i loved the diversity when i played in lower ranks, people don't get creative with thir designs and costumisation anymore and this is a key part why this was one of my favourite games
@@Mogzrl I understand that you mean in the graphic the hitbox is displayed differently, but go into freeplay and puss the ball really slow with the front or on top of your car and then you see that octane has an advantage over almost every car
They should make a car that actually fits the hitbox, even if it was ugly as hell I'd use it. When doing flip resets it's kinda hard to know if you're actually hitting the ball with the middle bottom of your car
