    Hello,
    I followed your video step by step but I have a problem. On your video 15'37'', you show how to change the source and select rel_revenue.
    I tried but the source for me is not available and I cannot select it.
    Any idea what is the problem ?
    Thanks

      Did you ensure that you checked the box to match multiple within the rel_revenue column?

    Thank you! Is this still the most up to date way to filter timeframes?

      There’s quite a few ways to filter timeframes. This happens to be my favorite way.

    I've been using your video as a step by step guide to building my current app. When I go to source my relation tab to my "revenue," the relations option is not available as a selection. Is there something I've done wrong? How can I go about fixing this issue?

      What time stamp in the video are you referring to?

    Thank you, this tutorial is so helpful! Is there a formula for the current quarter?

    • @RobertPetittoWA
      @RobertPetittoWA  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Year(date)*100+floor(month(date)/4)+1
      This might work.

    Hello, thank you so much for the video! Your explanations are very clear and engaging !
    i I have a question about the worktable table. If we'd want to introduce another choice. for example a category for the revenu and we want to filter on the category instead of a timeframe.
    My question is, in the worktable, do I add another row for each choice ? or do I add a category column in the same row that will be populate by the user choice in the tab.
    the second option seems to work, but I wonder what is the best way to build if we are looking to have different choice for different users.

    • @RobertPetittoWA
      @RobertPetittoWA  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say have a working table that’s just meant to be the source of the screen. The different choices for your categories can exist in any other table. In that same table, you can define, which category should be visible to which user. Then you can filter the choice component. The choice component will ultimately write to a user specific column in the working table.

    Great video! how would you add a secondary filter on top of this filter you have created?

    • @RobertPetittoWA
      @RobertPetittoWA  ปีที่แล้ว

      Repeat the process with a second choice component. Take a look at my video: Filter an inline list using a choice component

      @@RobertPetittoWA I'm dying! do you mean making a second row in the "Work table"? to be able to add a second area of choice? I'm trying to label selected categories prior the date, so you can see only the categories selected and then the range of dates. No sucess yet :(

    Fantastic video! How different would this be with Airtable tables?

    • @RobertPetittoWA
      @RobertPetittoWA  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No difference at all since all the calculations are done Glide side.

    Thanks for good lessons, I would like to know you can send data to different columns in the same row with an row id, id in A1, VALUE1 in B1 AND VALUE2, Then you update the data row wise in different instance i.e. value1 in b2 today and tomorrow value 2 in C2. in Google sheet. Thanks in advance.

    If you added charts to the detail screen, would the charts also dynamically change based on the timeframe filter?

    • @RobertPetittoWA
      @RobertPetittoWA  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as you’re using the same filters on the chart, yes!

    hi may i know why when i set the relation, the name doesnt come out

    • @RobertPetittoWA
      @RobertPetittoWA  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What you see in the data editor after creating a relation is just a visual representation of the connection. What you’ll see is the first column in the destination table. If you need the name, you’ll need to add a look up column.
