So you think the country is in better shape now? You shouldn't just assume to vote blue. Historically the parties have "swapped sides" before. ( I think the last switch was in the 60's). But historically Republicans were LIBRAL when they freed the slaves while democrats voted to "Conserve" slavery. You gotta look at the aspects in which are actually liberating you.
