Great performance, hope you will play more of the American songbook incl at Loule this year (JUL 2022) and not just modal/avant garde please which is ok to show technique but hard work to listen to for a whole set. As an example John Pizzarelli was wonderful at Faro theatre 2 weeks ago on 18 Jul 22.

Tomorrow's concert will be a "bassless" trio with a lot of experimentation over more recent original works. of mine.
My only concern is with depth and honesty of expression in anything I do, I hope that you can open yourself up to receive this, beyond genres and stylistic labels which are terrible at capturing the richness and complexity of the Human experience.

@@manefmusic Thanks for your reply Mané, I have long been a jazz fan with eclectic tastes ranging from Duke Ellington, Bebop (Charley Parker),MJQ, Joe Pass (my hero), John Scofield ..I´m seeing John Zorn concert in Cascais next month so appreciate most genres of jazz. I was just trying to say we must think of the audience and appreciate what constitutes enjoyment for them beyond the purely technical that´s all. Kind regards and good luck tonight.
