You were correct. Dimash said he's a tenor but there is nothing ordinary about him. He has the best vibrato I've ever heard.
no, Dimash said he is baritone but many vocal coach said he is tenor. I am personally say he is baritone because his speaking voice around C3-D3 but it had not much meaning because he had all type of voices

@DQ Dear, I will agree with you here. Dimash has the best vibrato I've ever heard in any genre, by male or female. Entire sonnets could be written just about his vibrato. Yet, he does everything so spectacularly that his world-class vibrato often passes with little mention.

That is a favorite of mine. There is a video of people who did the film. A woman on it said she Googled the most beautiful voice in the world and his name came up. It has English subs and several reactors say at the end of the song Dimash's voice sounds like an electric guitar.

Omg, Know is spectacular! I like the performance at Igor's 65th anniversary; he replaces the F6 with staccato, and although it's a small change, it really affects the mood.
Yes, he is bringing a more legit style into vogue. He did Ogni Pietra in NYC back in December, it was spectacular and the audience/fans went nuts. I hope someday to see him on an opera stage. I think the theatre would welcome him and his audience/fans. Opera needs an injection of popularity to keep it alive - at least here in the US.
Dimash is like Tiger Woods who made golf cool for the masses. So too, Dimash is bringing "Popra" to the people. All people are attracted to great music no matter the genre.

Hi Hannah, you are ready for Unforgettable Day live at Gakku and Love is LIke a Dream with his purple suit. It's so funny watching reviewers discover Dimash. Interesting what the different backgrounds of reviewers (I've nothing to do during isolation so chose to become a Dimash authority to sort myth from fact, lol) bring to what they observe. Some comment on the color of his suits, the lack of shirts he wears under his jackets, some his hair, lol, but only one reviewer noted on Passione that when he is accepting flowers, some girl passes him a slip of paper and Dimash discretely slips it into his pocket. We debated on messenger whether he did it out of politeness given both of us had been singers in real life (me during 1970s) and knew how common that was after a performance. I bet he did it out of politeness if it was what we assumed it was, lol, he is just so humble and modest away from the stage. Dimash is so shy on one video when he is introduced to a Chinese model that it really shows the contrast once he goes into character before a song. The backstories on Gloria Wu for Autumn Strong and Daybreak are amazing. Autumn Strong is still my all time favorite Dimash performance given the pressure to learn Chinese in one week to compete against China's top artists, sing a legendary song to bring awareness of cultural racism to the world, and the fact that he sang that perfectly to a live band in one of the best singing competitions in the world, and then just reached into so many viewers hearts and made them feel the songwriter's tribute to Yamaguchi's pain was incredible. Ten of his Singer performances will be studied in music conservatories and by serious students of music for decades to come. Adagio from Singer 2017 is fascinating for stage presence and emotion. Dimash has made all singers around the world realize we all can do better.

In his concerts he mixes every style of music. Pop, Opera, Rap, Neoclassical, Kazakh Folksongs... I have never seen another artist doing this. And at some of his songs his Dears (fans) sing along with him in any language even they don’t speak this language. His connection to his audience is magical.

I started liking opera after I heard Dimash. You should listen to Ti Amo Cosi - he sings with Lara Fabian and Aida Garifullina, also Ullisse with Aida Garifullina. His Passione is just out of this world, as is his duet: Tu vas me detriere. What can one say about Dimash that would truly describe him? Only: the Greatest of All Time. Thanks for your insightful reactions on Dimash. I'm looking forward to more of them.

Dimash has said he was born with elongated vocal folds. IMHO If he's singing in a baritone range.. then he's a baritone... it would make sense considering just how rich his lower register actually is. Baritones typically have rich head voice too. I think Dimash training since 5 has allowed him to keep the part of his range typically lost in puberty...

I cannot get enough of this Michaelangelo of the voice. He does not sing songs. He creates masterpieces. When I heard SOS I knew I was in the presence of greatness. Please react to Diana Ankudinova's Wicked Game. She is also a fascinating talent at the beginning of her journey. She was only 15 when she sang the song, but her talent is undeniable. Igor Krutoy was one of the judges at that competition! You will want to watch something else from her, and that song should be her stunning "Retchenka". I will never forget Trevin Hunte on The Voice season 3. He opened my eyes to different music which led me down youtube spirals to end up finding Charlotte and Jonathan and then Dimash. Once I heard and watched Dimash on The Singer 2017, I was blown away and forever changed.
My teenage children listen to him. They actually have their friends listening as well.

знаете, хочется сказать следующее: все блогеры (по крайней мере те, которых я смотрел, а таких уже не мало) пытаются анализировать технику исполнения. Ну что можно сказать о ней? Димаш - гений (и этим все сказано). Для меня странно (и в какой то мере обидно) что ни кто не отмечает колоссальную работу его команды, начиная от визажиста и дизайнера костюмов, заканчивая хореографами, художниками по свету, осветителями, людьми на сцене (танцорами) и всеми прочими кто так или иначе участвует в создании этого волшебства, но менее заметны...
Думаю, они все настолько потрясены, что не могут оценить всё и сразу, но конечно же, заметят это все позже при многочисленных просмотрах. Я и сама внвчале просто плакала, а сейчас только мурашки и восторг. И тоже ценю огромную работу всего коллектива!

You are right, he is bringing an appreciation of different music styles to his audiences. His fan base is very diverse, from grandmothers to young kids, to those who typically only listen to heavy metal or rap . Somehow, he is able to appeal to all these people. Yes, he is a phenomenal vocalist, but there are lots of other great singers out there and they don’t attract such a diverse audience. I think it is his humility, his ability to emote and his sincerity which draws people to him. Dimash is so stunning. What a great artist!! There are a bunch of AMAZING singers on The Singer, China, but often they block. You can check out one of them named Hua Chenyu, he has his own channel on TH-cam with ENG SUBS. He is friends with Dimash. Hua Hua is also stunning. Maybe start with Nunchucks. He has tons on his site from concerts, films and commercials as well. Really fun and he also combines multiple genres. You will always be surprised with each performance. This season on The Singer, China, there are so many great singers from multiple nations. A couple of standouts: Hua Chenyu, Misia (Japan) and Zhou Shen (China), all have stunning performances and are highly skilled artists.

What impressed me the most is the switch from tenor to soprano within a split second timing.

Hello from a DEAR in Australia. There is a video with people who made the movie Dimash's new song Across Eternal Dimension's is from. A blond woman on it said while looking for a singer to do a song she Googled which singer had the most beautiful voice in the world. The answer came back Dimash. A lot of reactors say near the end of the song he sings in English that his voice sounds like an electric guitar. If you haven't seen it check it out. My favorite version is by the YT channel 100Elissimo.

Dimash Kudaibergen became the guest of honor at the opening of the II European Games in Minsk in June 2019.
He performed his new song Ogni Pietra (Olympico) in Italian. During the performance at the Dynamo stadium, the flag of the European Olympic Committees appeared, which was carried by 6 people.

Dimash sings on the highest real sopranos, and not just falsetto, like most men. In a recent interview, he described how his teachers taught soprano singing from childhood. Dimash has a classical, opera school of vocals, he was taught to sing just like that.
He once said there was a shortage of girls singing soprano in his school choir so they put him in to sing with them. He said it was ok as he got to meet lots of pretty girls.
Nature endowed him with unique ligaments, so he retained the ability to sing in a high key and after age-related changes in his voice. The gift of God and great work from childhood is Dimash.
His father is a singer and composer, his mother is a soprano singer.)
Of course, their son grew up among music from birth and from early childhood learned to play musical instruments and sing.

In case you decide to do another Dimash reaction in the future, "Sinful Passion" from Sochi is another amazing performance of him. Highly recommended! There is an insane belt (Bb5) and an amazing pentatonic run on this performance, and a couple of other elements as well you don't often see Dimash do in other songs.

And Dimash is the WORLD # 1 ARTIST I truly believe so I mean who else in the world? can sing all eg tenor headvoice soprano opera classic pop etc etc etc as clearly and well cotrol right through effortlessly without breaking his voice?? Yes Dimash is everything he is so unique, original and he can sing all kind of style music, really he is in another level and I always say " that" with respect to other good singers. All the world should hear his voice,, at this point at least in social media he is very known internationally. It has been fun to watch you discover the incomparable Dimash. "Sinful Passion" and "Love is Like a Dream" are two of my favorites. A singer I would love for you to review is Angelina Jordan. Angelina is from Norway where she won Norway's Got Talent in 2014 at the age of seven singing Billie Holliday and Gershwin. At the age of twelve she was invited to sing at the 85th birthday celebration in London for Quincy Jones. She sang Quincy's arrangement of "Fly Me to the Moon" that he had prepared for Frank Sinatra. He said of Angelina that she was the most talented youth he has seen since Michael Jackson. At the end of last year she was a contestant on America's Got Talent Champions Edition. She sang her own arrangements of "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Yellow Brick Road", both performances were stunning. Since her appearances on Norway's Got Talent, through her cover channel she has released over 120 covers and 3 originals. As an introduction to Angelina I would recommend her version of Screaming Jay Hawkins "I Put a Spell on You". She performed this at the age of nine. This song made me go search for something a capella from him the first time I heard it lol I seriously couldn't believe that low voice came out of him and then the very high tone, like you said, is like he has different personalities inside one body
I just saw a video of Dimash singing together with his parents and in spite not understanding what they are singing about I was in tears. I can just feel the love between them in stage. Dimash works so hard to get here, I saw also a video how he withdraw in American talent show when he finds out he’s gonna compete with two children and the judges berated him because of the integrity that he has. Sometimes we only see the masterpieces of the artist but not knowing what they been through .I can’t wait for that day come to come when the whole world knows about him, which he truly deserves. He is one of a kind, we don’t come across with this kind of gift often. Thank you for your reaction, because then people understand how hard it is of what he is doing which it looks easy for him and can appreciate it more
