Why is megapixel multiply or release so popular? I much prefer ones like this. I don't judge people for liking it, it's just a shame that other ones don't seem to get as much attention.
Seeing how excess damage and green’s reflection affected cyan’s 259, maybe let it shoot a “charged shot” type of projectile or multiple projectiles would be better? Also for greens (if you are accepting the idea above this might be helpful for balancing), make them do 100% of damage back but receive half the damage it takes? However, if it can’t tank the incoming attack, it blocks the shot as if it was a stronger circle
Very interesting concept! I feel like it takes too long for a player to be able to recover their defences. Maybe have the "+1" also spawn a single circle cell each time? Or spawn a single circle cell each time the marble "scores" in any fashion? Perhaps if they have fewer than say 20 cells in play? Poor Pink, that was not a nice way to go 😨
I don't really understand what each shapes do/their stats/their scaling, so adding these info on the scrolling side as they get discovered would be welcomed, otherwise very cool concept ^^
Shapes: Circle - Doesn't do anything special. Triangle - Has high attack damage, and automatically moves towards enemies. Does not stay near the nucleus. Square - Reflects incoming projectiles. Pentagon - Deals splash damage and follows enemies. Hexagon - Shoots a high damage projectile. Who will win?
@@drakebalzer3950 I thought about reading the desc like .5 sec after posting, however this brings what I think is a problem with UI. Like there's 5 shapes why the fuck do I need a documentation to understand them? Even more when you consider I don't know their stats. Are triangle higher attack with lower hp? How does the hexagon scales with the numbers? I don't fucking know, and the description doesn't even begin to say it. I'm just trying to raise points to improve this concept which I like instead of being a dumb fuck insulting others for inconsequential things on the internet
wow this was INTENSE and kind of mesmerizing in a creepy existential way. like single cell organisms fighting in the premordial soup. the anti-bodies! the macrophages! the orange terror! viscious
It is always great to see your Faf color who normally hardly ever wins, win and my second fav to end in second place :D Loved the fight and how close some parts where.
This was a fun change from the normal multiply or release videos. Cant wait to see whats next. Also, when that orange hexagon showed up, i knew it was the winner.
LM should add viruses and bacteria that spawn randomly each 3 minutes on the map with random HP. The bacteria would attempt to pierce the defense of the nucleus and get inside. They will slowly lose HP while inside of the nucleus. When the bacteria gets inside of the base of the nucleus (the main thing), the nucleus will not be able to multiply by 2, but will only be able to add 2. The nucleus can fight back and destroy the bacteria that is inside of it by producing 25 shapes. The effect of not being able to multiply by 2 but only add by 2 lasts for 5 minutes if the nucleus has low defense, 2 mins and 30 seconds if the nucleus has medium defenses, and 1 minute 15 seconds if it has high defenses. The virus would attempt to pierce the defense of the nucleus and get inside. They will slowly lose HP while inside of the nucleus. When the virus gets inside of the base of the nucleus (the main thing), the nucleus would be forced to produce the same virus and the nucleus would slowly decay. The nucleus can fight back and destroy the virus that is inside of it by producing 50 shapes. The nucleus would still be able to produce shapes, but if it does not get rid of the virus, it will possibly die.
This is amazing! How do you come up with so many fantastic ideas!? I’d love to see more of this, maybe with different multipliers (x3,x4,...) and maybe a sort of “factory” shape that produces circles at a rate depending on its size? P.S. hope marble kingdoms will keep going too
Oooohh, big fan! I love the way the nucleuses burst into huge things when they score a big number. Very satisfying to watch. And the different shapes are all really fun. The hexagons don't seem to scale well with high numbers though. Seems like a lot of overkill for such a slow attack. Maybe they should have some "overflow" damage? Say, if a hexagon projectile kills another shape (except squares) then the projectile continues with 50% of the overkill damage? I dunno, just throwing an idea around. This is a very fun simulation! I'm looking forward to future episodes. I wonder what comes next!
Ironic how red is colored red, was the most offensive for atleast the first half of the video, was the first to get triangles, and was the first to get hexagons.
I HAVE RETURNED! This is a very good game mode, I like what i'm seeing, no complaints. However I do have some possible suggestions: Have some mechanic tied to how much territory the nucleus currently controls, I don't know how this would be implemented, a catch up mechanic perhaps? But the current system of powerful nuclei pressuring weaker ones into becoming smaller is full of potential. The only other thing of note would be to add more shapes, an aoe projectile launcher perhaps? Anyway, as I said, no complaints here, well maybe some minor nitpicks, but i'm not going to bother with those. As an ardent green suporter, this loss hurt.
Spoilers I feel like cyan should have had a chance to do something there. Maybe on the first bit that would have killed, the color instead releases all of it's points as circles?
I'm always rooting for green in all of your gamemodes. I was destroyed watching the mega pentagon go nuts. Clearly green is best and should always be buffed, it's only right.
I found it a bit difficult to read the numbers for blue and purple, you might want to start including a lighter bg around your numbers to increase readability

It's the start of a new series. The depiction of attack and defense within small Nucleus is truly impressive and creative. cool :)
Yes it's been a while since I did something new :)

I was cheering for green right to the end.
This is deserving of a series.
