The sword god style Eris and Gyes both know is based on going full speed and strength in one move to finish battles immediately so that one confrontation was equivalent to a whole battle for them. But because they went so fast, only they could actually understand what happened.
I don't know if you ever seen the anime "chivalry of a failed night".... But they actually did this for the final fight. Full speed full power one strike. It was dope as fuck. Pretty cool anime too and you never seen it
I think the best part of this anime is how it feels like an RPG game. Like even rudy getting a demon eye sounds like a reward after completing a side quest and that side quest was feeding that little demon girl. This definitely has to be my favorite isekai.

the styles are sword god, north god and water god yes, but in them the top rank is called either sword god, north god and water god too. also did this man really say PAUL was a seven great power!? lmao. we know already that hes only advanced. the ranks are elementary, intermediate, advanced, saint, sword king, sword emperor and sword god.
Advanced in all three Sword styles though, and he mixes styles in battle, that makes his style more than the sum of its parts. If he had specialised then sure he'd have gone higher.

Dude they aren't adapting the manga because it's not the source material, the light novels. The reason it's different is because the manga is not a good adaption. So those "added filler and weird changes" are mostly cannon to the source material.
