Just stringing up lights all around would've given an instant magical feel. Then add a centerpiece, an ice sculpture, some or'deurves, and large flower arrangements. I'm just coming up with ideas off the top of my head. It must be a money issue, but why do the event? The event organizers were probably pocketed the money.
@@angelaramirez4144 the tickets cost between $200 and $1,000! With an estimated 1,500 guests/tickets sold, this generated anything between $300,000 to $900,000+ in profit! No wonder the two organizers are in hiding. They will get sued! Civil action lawsuits!
They probably had this big grand idea and decided to just guarantee people on the registration without actually making sure everything was set to go or that their idea would actually work. And they probably gained a lot more attention and attendees than they thought. It's just a guess. I also heard from real event organizers that people tend to have these grand ideas and think it could be magically done right away with no real thought of how it works. So, I'm guessing these people just gave up and ran with what they currently have and could get. They should've collabed or had a sponsor with professionals who knows how to designs these things. What's weird is I'm pretty sure they had many months to set this up. If they couldn't afford it, they shouldn't have made the idea so grand and big. It should've just been a smaller event, or like you said, no event at all.
I'be been hearing a lot of stories about stuff like this lately-people getting scammed into thinking that there's gonna be a huge party or whatever, but it turns out to be a total letdown. 😕

While it may not be the best city in the world, it doesn't mean you can't host an event? If it was done by professionals and real professional event planners and designers, this wouldn't have happened. Looking at the venue, the location and venue doesn't look bad at all. Well yeah. When Netflix put on this event tickets started at $39.95. A small event marketing business doesn’t have Netflix money so their tickets starting at $100 makes sense.
