Welcome to nyc man! If you get a chance, the best burger is the black label burger at minetta tavern. It’s expensive but it’s dry aged beef and is one of the burgers started the whole burger renaissance in nyc. The black label burger and Shake shack are what put Pat Lafreida into the public consciousness.
I think Jee's ratings are a bit harsh. The patty, sauces, kimchi are all made in house and I have seen videos that show the dedication of the chef. The price is fair for Manhattan. As a Korean I would likely be in the same boat as all of you wanting more kimchi, but like you said it is made for an American clientele. I know Americans love their salt, but Korean food is not low on salt. The banchan and fermented foods contain a fair bit of salt. Koreans also use soy sauce, anchovies, seaweed, etc.. for flavour in lieu of salt. In a lab would Korean food actually have a lower sodium count?
Good points and Good question :) tbh Jee's ratings were actually high considering she doesn't like burgers 😂 I'll keep trying to change her mind 😉 I do recommend trying the burgers here if you can. Thanks for your comment
was planning to skim through but ended up watching the whole thing mostly because of your couple vibes. 한분은 에너지가 넘치고 한분은 차분하고 둘이 잘 맞는거 같아요~
Thanks for watching 😊
Great stuff! Fun and funny video. Comment of the episode - "Two of my fave things in life, burgers and Korea"... and your wife's reaction! LOL
Wow looks delicious 😍!!
You would have loved it my friend!
3:05 you know joel has been speaking too much korean when he responds with 'why? why?' instead of 'what?'
New York New York, I'm glad it was experienced! You and your wife are super cute together!

Thanks! Yeah sorry about the pink lights 😞 the vibe is a lot cooler in real life, but the camera was struggling 🫠
Adam's line "That's not even fusion. That's just confusion." 😂 Curious how QQ a mix Japchae and Ttokboki would be now!
Haha so good :D only I could mix up japchae and chop cheese 🫠

@@Jipseekid Oh! thanks!! 감사합니다!
