Hi Austin, I'm watching you from Michigan. I think its nice when you have so many signals to choose from. Its a lot more fun to watch then the areas that it takes 20 mins just to get a signal, only to be a pull tab. Seems these less desirable beaches don't get hunted as heavy as the pure sand beaches. good video see ya on the next one. ✌

Get a bag of aquarium gravel, put it and the coins in that callander. Add dish washing soap and water, swish it around. Rinse.
What I have is a Thumlers Ultra Vibe 10 Reloading Yellow Stripe tub to clean my Coins and I don't use any kind of water, I only use Dry Sand and you have enough sand there to not have to buy it and I don't have to get out my Big Towels and let them dry on the Big Kitchen Table and I just use a Strainer and a Bucket 🪣 and I just take the lid off and then pour out the Sand and the Coins into the Strainer it catches the coin's and A good Shake and the rest of the Sand falls in the Bucket and off to the Bank......

From florida, need to find a beach like that, the main beaches are empty for me ATM, rock tumbler is best for the coins, might could put them in a couple old socks and toss them in the washing machine/ dryer, seems when I find coins in my dryer they are supper clean

Those State Quarter folders look good. I might have to try & get myself one of each of those, although I don't find very many foreign coins when detecting. I did work in a bank from when I was 17 until they retrenched me in 2012 & worked as a teller for 11 of those years. Picked up a few different foreign coins and notes in that time. We don't have individual state coins here in Australia.
I have found two crematory tags in the last two weeks. the most respectful thing to do is take a photo of it, and then send it back to the ocean.

California, and letting coins soak a few days in distilled water works well and using a wooden skewer to do the scrubbing.

Hi Austin and Destiney good hunt, from central Alberta Canada. I got my first detector on a black Friday sale a few weeks ago for $199.00 the Vanquish 440. We got snow and -33C will have to wait till spring to start detecting, I use Oxy clean in a tumbler to clean my old coins and then a good rinse they turn out pretty good.

Oh, man. My 8 yr old and I just started detecting and our first beach find was a stainless steel crematory tag. Wasnt expecting to explain that to an 8 yr old that day and we did keep it, now I'm wishing we didn't.
Don't throw the tag back, it's probably a burial at sea, it will only wash up again. The tag is for the mortuary to keep the remains accounted for.
Quebec Canada, Generally for my go-to quick cleaning coins in the field, I use a thing called a scratch pen, They come in 3 varieties, fiber bristles, copper, and steel, the copper is the one I use, For old stubborn pennings, I use a little mixture of muriatic acid with hydrogen peroxide, which I water it down a tad. When using that etching solution you only keep the pennies in it for a few seconds rinse off and clean with a copper brush, if you forget the coin in it, it is as good as gone, the solution will break down the coin and your penny will become part of the solution, for dimes, nickels, quarters, a good scrubbing with the copper brush and final cleaning with Silvo.

Hey from PA! i would say either ultrasonic cleaner or baking soda/vinegar to clean
Soak the crusty coins in CLR or Lime Away for a few hours to a day, depending on the level of crust. After the soak, a brass bristle wire brushing will usually bring out enough detail to identify.
I would see how many times that tag would skip across the water…not taking that home with me!!!! 😂😂😂😂

Goondiwindi , Mid-Western Queensland Australia ( WhoopWhoop )The coins seem to be an alloy which will clean up in vinegar( white ) coke will do similar but vinegar is best for most metals including steel, brass, copper, silver even gold to some degree or a sonic cleaner or a bullet tumbler with a media with a fine cutting compound mixed in it . electrolysis is another way of cleaning most metals. id dig most signals at first, determine if its trashy, if so then resort to the better signals

Nice hunting Austin. Answers to your questions. Would I keep the creamatory tag? Yes, very odd but they are and will be collectable. What state do you live in? Florida. I clean my coins with olive oil and a soft tooth brush. Leave soak in olive oil overnight. Do not have olive oil use vinegar.

Have fun with the quarter book. I have collection books for my coin finds. I go for the darker toned the better for these. I want to make sure it looks like they were dug. My last hunt I found a lot of clad and managed to get 8 new quarters in my books. I've had these going for a few months so that's a lot to add from one hunt at his point.

Good hunt Florida! Those dimes with the black/grey color could be silver. I use a rock tumbler. You can find them decently priced at Harbor Freight. I too try to think outside of the box on where to hunt. Good video!
Nice pulling all those coins! Walked a beach in Holland for 2 hours…4 signals…3 trash and 1 5ct coin…had a massive cramp from swinging te V 540😂 but still…happy to be out hunting whenever the wheather allows🤠👨🦯😃👍

Great hunt Austin. I clean my coins with a Harbor Freight rock tumbler but if you just want to clean them up a little to make them easier to identify Harbor Freight also has a small brush set that has nylon, brass and stainless steel brissels works pretty good.
I'll invest in a tumbler soon, probably a good choice. 👍
What I have is the Ultra -Vibe 10 and They don't have to be tumbling and then they are not falling on top of each other and get Damaged and I use Sand to get the Fine Dirt off and and I don't use any kind of water and I don't have to find a place to get them dry and also all I have to do is just take the lid off and pour out the Sand into the Strainer and then the same Sand then is emptied in the Bucket 🪣 and the Strainer catches the coin's and A good Shake and the Coins are clean and ready to go to the Bank and I think Harbor Freight is selling a Vibration Style Cleaner and I'm not talking about a Ultrasonic which uses Water/Chemicals/Vinegar Or Baking Soda and I Also have a Hornady Vibration Tub and it's the same size as the 10 and I also have a Ultra Vibe 45 and it's huge and I have watched a video of a Guy that was using the Tumbler and he was putting all the Coins in Vinegar And Baking Soda and didn't separate the Coins and all of them are looking like Pennies and the Copper leached out and Discolored the whole thing and I don't use Water just Sand.... Edit And the Sand is reusable Again and Again...

Beach is usually so quiet well so far here in Nova Scotia so i dig everything but you can cherry pick with that many hits ....GL go get the good's PS Holy the signals that can't be hunted much for sure ..... PSS Aqua chigger just dig a great video on the coin cleaning process and is a must watch for every detector as i learned a lot from it and i heard you say watching lots of his videos
White vinegar then rub with baking soda.
I would dig mid tones and high tones first.

I find an average of one small US dollar coin a month. All of the silver jewelry I've found was trying to be zinc pennies on the target ID

I metal detect in metal detector metal detect and I can't find a silver coin in the ground but I'm on my son's porch the other day and I find a top find of a dime and it was pure silver
