Ericeira is most definitely the best place we have lived vanlife.
ps. Surfing in Ericeira can be extremely hard! Rip currents at Ericeira beaches can be extremely strong please be careful when swimming and surfing alone.

If you remove the side mirrors there is a nut that you can tighten on the inside so they stay in place and not sag.

Oh absolutely. We spent all of January there this year, some shops will close for a week or so but still lots happening. Can be warm in day but cold at nights.
