    This is the most informative and complete VW Rocker Arm Geometry video on TH-cam!! Thank you sooooo much for taking the time to educate us with these videos. I've been wrenching on VW's since the 1980's and I've NEVER found anyone who can explain the 'how & why' of how VW components work with the same level of detail and precision as you. I've been binge watching your channel. Keep up the fantastic work!!

      Thanks brother glad you enjoyed the video. Wish I had all the cool machine shop tools to make perfect modifications, but I do make do with what I have. I like showing that it can be done in our own garage.

    Something I've used for a few years now is the "elephant foot" swivel adjusters. They require shims and some trimming of the rockers to work properly. Some folk are skeptical but i feel they reduce wear considerably. There are also ball-end swivel adjusters but I've never tried them.

    G'day Jason,
    An interesting video I'll be putting all this new found knowledge your sending my way to good use when I put Percy's engine back together. Percy is a 1967 spilt window bus and a new stable mate for Betsie.
    ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia

    Another good one dude!
    Curious… what the difference with the tip off to the left vs off to the right? As long as it makes the valve rotate, doesn’t seem like it makes a difference? 🤷‍♂️

      I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure once I check the pattern that it moves left to right or right to center, allowing for better wear on the guides. I'll let you know. Thanks for the support, brother.

    Hallo good video but you talked off Center to the left ? But in video it’s to the right. Confused 😂

    • @martinharris5017
      @martinharris5017 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tip (adjuster) to the left, valve tip to the right. I think...!

    • @janolsson2794
      @janolsson2794 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Still confused but dose it get right if it offcenter at both right or left side not spot on Center

    • @JWClassicVW
      @JWClassicVW  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's left to center when I was standing behind... not when standing in front for the close ups.
