Game has sold 1m units in a week, has great reviews & a very high player count. It's a massive success.
There's more content on the way as well, so the player count and sales are only going to go higher. Hope they keep adding to this game after that.
Loved this game. Came out of nowhere for me and was one of the most fun things I've played this year.
Waited for second game for years
Easily Game of the Year currently - It still has to contend with BG3 and Starfield - but compared to TotK and FFXVI this one stands above for me. It's got so much to do, explore, and full coop story mode. Been playing with my Wife whose never liked shooters and she's fallen in love with this game. It's also no shoving MTX down your throat, no annoying monetization for an Indie. I hope the best for this studio because if this is just the beginning for them the next iteration will be amazing with the revenue they gain from this one.

remnant 2 is my game of the year so far! not that anybody asked :P
Loved everything but the final boss and how much they go against melee but give you everything to make some really badass melee builds.
I really hope Gunfire Games can finally make Darksiders 4 now
I didnt get the 1st one as it had too many things that just weren't for me but this one seems to have fixed most if not all of them, super excited to pick it up when i get paid next.
Did you play on Nightmare on your first playthrough?
Also, do you think it'd be doable without the dog? The dog seems to take so much aggro that it makes the game much easier, no matter the difficulty...
I enjoyed this game up until I beat it the first time. Wanted to do some runs on a higher difficulty and found that due to my weapon/archtype level being maxed that it felt like the enemies had outscaled me massively. If I want to play with any of my non maxed out classes I just get stomped by even the basic mobs as they just keep coming til Im out of ammo or they spawn behind me. I could probably just run by all the enemies but I dont enjoy that. I prefer to clear the area of hostiles instead of running from fog gate to fog gate. Hoping something changes down the line to improve this.
If I don't see anything new in my psn summersale I might as well get this game cause I am just starving for some new games man -_-

As he mentioned multiple times on stream, he never wanted to get into it because that game (to him seemingly) has too many problems. It's also totally not required to get into either of the "main" games.

Probably the best 70 hours spent while waiting for BG3
I just want to point out that the menu system could have been better as far as controllers are concerned. Having to move the cursor to each thing like you are using a mouse is annoying to say the least and I much perferred the menu from Remnant 1.
I just can’t commit to buying it with BG3 coming out. Thats THE game I want to play currently.
I am surprised that the game is reviewed so well given its massive technical issues. Maybe it plays 'well' but the game is massively unoptimised, I guess UE 5 will help make unoptimised games look optimised, but this was much worse than for example Layers of Fears.
Good but not super great
The random mechanism make the collection of gears more painful and meaningless
I mean, not everyone has that kind of luck for getting straight in poker game for every single time
So that this game. Gaining each piece of equipment is painful cuz you need to roll again and again to get those gears you want.
Due to this, I suggest devs can add a opportunity accumulation mechanism just like other loot-farming game like destiny 2 or borderland series.
For performance, this game is totally

I’m playing on ps5 and I have 720p resolution on average under balance mode and performance mode
Also, performance mode have a serious frame-tearing as its uncapped frame.
Hope they can patch it ASAP or this game may not worth as its points/reviews given by those gaming media like IGN.
Addicted but painful
Game was super mid and got refund. Was DLC at best.
