i think the Iglu is much to small for cats. Most cats like an big open toilet cats tend to bee pee everywere when they dont like their toilet so be aware about that 🐱🐱🐱
I spent 60 bucks on that rolling litter box which was great for a while then my cat started peeing on my bed. After 2 vet visits and a lot of trial and error I found out she didn't like the litter box. I removed the lid and she was fine. Now I have a 5.00 storage tote from Walmart that works great! #catlogic
Cats don't like covered litter boxes, because when they wee they feel vulnerable. If they were in the wild, they'd want to keep watch on their surroundings and make sure no predators are sneaking up on them while they're weeing.

RollyCat never got enough backers to complete the crowd funding. And Blocks appears to be perpetually sold out. So yeah, you can't buy your cat something that doesn't actually exist.

Get a cat sitter, leave the cat in a cattery or with a friend but never leave them alone longer than a day. It's cruel and what happens if he/she gets trapped somewhere and can't get out?

People leave their cats alone for days even with a Cat sitter; if you vacation a lot a cat sitter will only come by maybe once every other day etc. I have two cats they entertain each other plenty and I have never had any issue with them. Got them as kittens and now they are 5 years old happy and healthy. We use our brains before we leave to ensure nothing dangerous they could get into while we are away and they always have plenty of food and drink. Maybe not all cats are this easy to care for but ours have never had an issue.
Cats are independent creatures and will do fine on their own for a couple days as long as you leave plenty of food water and toys. Thats the best part about owning a cat. Unlike a dog where you either have to board them (SUPER stressful for both you and the dog) or have someone come by twice a day to take them out and feed them, or stay with them constantly if they are troublemakers. You people are paranoid. I leave for weekend trips every now and again and my 3 cats are perfectly happy and healthy. Besides, this first invention bombed and was never released and people are pissed they arent getting their money back

The one thing I never forget is to feed my cats. Harlequin ambushes me Everytime I get up. She had to have her canned food fix or I'm afraid she might try eating me. Her brother Micah just mooches on her work. As for dry food they pretty much get whatever they want. That's deal as long as they don't get fat. Actually they get most food that they want. Just in tiny bits if it's human food. Micah is a real foodie. I offer tiny bits just to see if he will eat it. Pineapples, oranges, laughy taffy, grape soda, cherry tomatoes are a favorite, etc. It's a good thing he can't tell the difference between a tiny bite and a big bite.
Jackson Galaxy's suggestion in not using a closed litter box should be mentioned. I get that the smell may be an issue but the aesthetic of litter boxes should not be a thing. They are for the cats not us.
I never had a smelly litter box, and we have the box in our bedroom. It's an open box too. "Sensitive" people should just not own pets if they've got no idea how to care for them.
Adeline Williams I agree!! Cats have no concept of privacy. My Yoda definitely wouldn't use any type of covered litter box. Yes, he does constantly get litter on the floor, but we use a plastic litter mat and vacuum up any litter that gets on the floor. If cats wanted privacy, they wouldn't lick their butts in front of us, lol. I do like the automatic feeder wth facial recognition and the robot ball, and the mice that you can put food inside. It's hunt, catch, kill, eat, groom and then sleep. Those things, plus playtime in between meals and before bed, help to keep cats healthy. Both physically and spiritually.
I love the Bistro feeder because I have multiple cats, two of which are obese, while the other is was underweight. The No Bowl you can make by getting a stuffed rat toy and hollowing it out then sew a patch of fabric to cover the hole, voila you got a hunting toy food container! Dome toilet? Wow. Two products here that promote cat's health by feeding them dried food. Unbelievable. If your cat is obese, it's not because it eats from bowl, it's because you're feeding them dried food. Cats are dessert animals, they don't have thirst drive and they get most of their moisture from their food. Cats fed dried food are chronically dehydrated. Dry food is especially dangerous for male cats since dehydration causes crystals to form in the UT, which is extremely painful and requires surgery. High content of carbs in dried food can lead to obesity and diabetes in cats. If that lady is a real vet, her licence should be revoked.
Recently got the nobowl feeding system because my cat would go crazy about an hour before feeding time. Like knock stuff over and constantly jump on me crazy. That problem has completely stopped now. And for those wondering if it gets food all over your house, at least with my cat she eats every piece of kibble up.

I think my cat would not stick his head inside a transparent box just to feed himself...he'd laugh out hard and jsut fish it out...entertaining himself for hours.
What cats need is to go outside. I know a lot of people can't let their cats out but it's really all you need to keep the cat happy, letting them get their daily dose of exercise, sunlight and plenty of distractions. Yes, my cats sometimes bring me murdered (or still living) wild life as gifts, but that's because I'm a vegetarian and they think I'm not feeding myself properly.

I had some cats suffer the consequences of their free lifestyle (fractured pelvis, dog attack), had them treated and brought home and none of them wanted to stay home once they were back on their feet. My cats have passed away from kidney disease, cancer and heart conditions - meaning they died old. Animals are not your little trinkets to display on a shelf, they need space, they need a life of their own. All of the animals I took in are strays and are used to the outdoors. The only one not allowed outside is home because he's FIV positive and shouldn't be in contact with other animals. He was found already spayed so I'm not surprised he's a little more used to being inside. The rest are vaccinated, spayed and get stressed when they can't go out. I'm not going to put them through a life in a box just so I can feel superior.
Guess the amount of food left in the bowl when you get home after work doesn't matter. The only thing my cat plays with is the milk ring. The expensive toys are ignored. Think I'll stick with that. Easier on my budget. My kitty would love the snap together cardboard tunnels and boxes. Give her a week and they would be completely shredded.

It's simple empty your litterbox as often as possible make it a habit and you wont have a smelly house/flat

What cats need is to go outside. I know a lot of people can't let their cats out but it's really all you need to keep the cat happy, letting them get their daily dose of exercise, sunlight and plenty of distractions. Yes, my cats sometimes bring me murdered (or still living) wild life as gifts, but that's because I'm a vegetarian and they think I'm not feeding myself properly.
My cat is terrified of the outside. He perfers to just play with my dogs and lay around with me.

I had some cats suffer the consequences of their free lifestyle (fractured pelvis, dog attack), had them treated and brought home and none of them wanted to stay home once they were back on their feet. My cats have passed away from kidney disease, cancer and heart conditions - meaning they died old. Animals are not your little trinkets to display on a shelf, they need space, they need a life of their own. All of the animals I took in are strays and are used to the outdoors. The only one not allowed outside is home because he's FIV positive and shouldn't be in contact with other animals. He was found already spayed so I'm not surprised he's a little more used to being inside. The rest are vaccinated, spayed and get stressed when they can't go out. I'm not going to put them through a life in a box just so I can feel superior.
Guess the amount of food left in the bowl when you get home after work doesn't matter. The only thing my cat plays with is the milk ring. The expensive toys are ignored. Think I'll stick with that. Easier on my budget. My kitty would love the snap together cardboard tunnels and boxes. Give her a week and they would be completely shredded.
