Guys, thank you a lot for creating "Troublegum", which for me is one of the best rock albums ever created in the known history of mankind! I just wrote to Enrique Bunbury , that beside "Entre Dos Tierras", it was your song... this song... "Die Laughing" the one I always waited to see on MTV's "Headbangers Ball", when I was a teenager at the early-mid '90s. :) I also remember clearly, that in one of other MTV show you played this live... It was one of the weekend, and some "All day Rock"-like event, and I remember well, that prior the weekend MTV advertised it for example with your presence. So I turned my TV on in the morning, and I was so excited that regardless not all the artists played the music I like, I didn't want to stand up for even a minute, just not to miss your live performance. :) Then I was happy to catch it, and record to VHS. Just FYKI... It was in Hungary, ~1994-95... years after the former communist era, but yet it was hard to get records of foreign rock & metal bands and musicians. Even no local radios played your song... So the only opportunity for us to listen to such music was still mainly MTV's rock & metal shows. I'm happy that some years later I managed to buy your "Troublegum" album, which I keep safe and proud, as a part of my CD collection. Oh, and btw... "Screamager" is still one of my ringtones on my mobile phone. :) God bless you All!
An outstanding tune from a massively underrated band.every song on this album is ridiculously good. I love this album .its just so good after all these years
I used to see Andy Cairns in virgin mega store in Dun Laoighre around 1997a few times, he seemed a humble guy. Very down to earth. One of the best Irish bands of the 90s!!!!
Gimme something to breath Give me a reason to live Close your eyes and see... what you have inside I think I've gone insane I can't remember my own name I think I've gone insane Another dream has gone (?) And your friends just tell you lies Then you realize... you gonna die anyway I think I've gone insane I can't remember my own name I think I've gone insane I can't remember my own name I think I've gone insane I can't remember my own name I think I've gone insane Lost in a world without reality I'm frightened to move I'm frightened to speak And I will kill for a good nights sleep I'm feeling I'm feeling dead Dead Dead Dead I think I've gone insane I can't remember my own name I think I've gone insane I can't remember my own name I think I've gone insane I can't remember my own name I think I've gone insane I can't remember I can't remember I can't remember I can't remember
Saw them at Sonisphere Uk bout 10 years ago (knebworth) where they headlined the tent on one of the nights. After a few false starts (technical problems) they kicked as like nothing had happened at all - True professionals. Top Band
Music was so fucking amazing in the '90s, it's so shit now by comparison. Makes me sad, but still treasure some great gigs and nights out we had. Therapy were great live btw
Still play the hell out of Therapy? albums. Excellent live band at that time. I couldn't survive at the front now though mind :-) I listened to nowt else except Therapy? for 3 or 4 years while I was sorting some stuff out. ??????
They still playing and releasing records. They never went anywhere. Check out there whole catalogue. I think they have 16 albums 🤔 I think and are always always gigging
This was the track that hook me to Troublegum. I've recorded the video in a VHS tape with many of my favourites from the first half of the 90's taken from MTV. A little bit later I was able to bought the cassette tape of Troublegum which I still own. Matt Mahurin made awesome videos during the 90's & this is a great example of it. P.S. Cairns look so handsome in this video. Regards from Mexico City.
Loved this band from day deh. Amazing to watch live aswell. Shame they don't play live so much these days! I also once had the opportunity to replace the drummer when he left. But my drumming just wasn't up to their standard of playing. Was an honer to jam with them tho.
Cairns is a very underappreciated guitarist, in terms of the art of the big riff he's certainly up there with the likes of iommi, mustaine , wylde and dimebag. I think cairns pisses all over Hetfield when it comes to musical integrity.
The third verse still gives me goosebumps. Best three-piece ever. And yes, Nirvana included. You saw these guys around this time, I guarantee your ears are still ringing. Who the hell hits his drumkit like that?!?!
pauledurant totally agree. Saw them for the first time in ‘94 at Monsters of Rock and I couldn’t hear properly for a week. They were animals live - the aggression and talent was unreal, and I miss that
Saw em in limerick bout 96ish n wemt to a party after n I could hear nothing only a ringing in my ears. Been to my share of gigs but I'll never forget that night. They were incredible 🎤🎸🥁🔊🔊
...and just like that, I'm a punk kid again, listening to this in my bedroom, a little drunk and stoned, with a few choice friends.... except I'm in a much nicer house now, in a nice, big, basement with a much nicer sound system, but I'm all alone...
I’ve had Troublegum on loop in the car for the last month. One of the great rock albums of the 90’s. All tracks are bangers.
Just put mine on in the car for a few months.
Rookie numbers, friend. I’ve had it for thirty years.
Im now 42 and still a Therapy? fan
Greetings from Greeeece
I'm 43 from Italy and still rockin'. Up Therapy?
Συναυλία Πειραιώς 199; Δε θυμάμαι καν ...κ επέστρεψα εδώ σήμερα ... τρελό κομμάτι γνήσιες εποχές.
38, but listening to this feels like 17. Love Troublegum. Greets from Croatia
At 44, some people still remember me as "The guy with the Troublegum? T-Shirt"
Μαζί σου πατριωτάκι...

Yeah Man!!
"Troublegum" is all killer, no filler album. Ideal for listening on a vinyl, you don't need to skip any track
An outstanding tune from a massively underrated band.every song on this album is ridiculously good. I love this album .its just so good after all these years
A timeless rock classic. Underrated but then again true talent and art is wasted on the philistines that monopolise this world.
Wasn't expecting to find a comment like that here! unfortunately you're right though😣
please explain

I first watched this video on Headbanger's Ball on the Italian MTV nearly 30 years ago and have been humming this song once in a while ever since.

It was the decade when the alternative became the mainstream. Great days.
Still play the hell out of Therapy? albums. Excellent live band at that time. I couldn't survive at the front now though mind :-) I listened to nowt else except Therapy? for 3 or 4 years while I was sorting some stuff out. ??????

Great band, great song ^_^
Those weird videos didn't make 'em popular. Man, I love this band
Quand j entend ça je sais pourquoi j aime le son des 90's ....
L'enregistrement de la batterie est typique
I've seen them live at Rock am Ring Festival 1994.
Times is out, lyrics is some truth about. 25 years last, but the same shit around.
The third verse still gives me goosebumps. Best three-piece ever. And yes, Nirvana included. You saw these guys around this time, I guarantee your ears are still ringing. Who the hell hits his drumkit like that?!?!

Who knew James Dean Bradfield's singing on this and playing guitar?
He provided his vocals and guitar only on the new "2020 Versions" album, not on the original '94 recording
incredible that there were only 3 guys
Hier trennen sich die Musiker von den "Superstars" , die eine 1000m² Bühne, 4000 Scheinwerfer und 800000 Pyros brauchen um ihr "Talent" zu zeigen.
Revisiting this scary 95 fucked up.
