I was watching this on a 5 hour flight home. I’m scared of heights and of flying obviously. Don’t know what worse watching you ride along those narrow switchbacks or looking outside the window of this flight home. “Chale” I wouldn’t drive down there man. Thanks for sharing though. Amazing footage.
Thanks. You should definitely do it man. 20 years ago I drove by and said I would come and there was always an excuse why I could not make it and so regret it. It’s only been a few months and I already want to go back. So much to see out there.
This is definitely on my bucket list to do in the Raptor. Do you have the front camera? If so did you use it was it helpful? I too am afraid of heights so some of this would be super nail biting for me too. Thanks for sharing your adventure through here.
My truck has the front camera, but it’s never worked. So I could not use it. I tried to use it though. But if you take it easy it’s not bad. And if you’re closer to stock width, it’s not as bad. Being wider and having the really bad turn radius of the SVC kit just sucked on hard scrabble. So I took it slow and steady. It’s always good to go with someone else so that if you needed it, they can spot you.Luckily we were both experienced on this trip and did not need it and just took it easy. So I would recommend doing the road with someone you trust.
How wide is your Raptor with the mid-travel? My 2001 with the HM kit is 90" outer wall to outer wall of my 37"x12.5" KO2's. I wouldn't think about taking mine up there, maybe a Jeep, I'm not much for heights either. Amazing trip, thanks for taking us with you!
Mine (black raptor) is on Mickey Thompson EXPs 37s on Method 704s - 17in - 0 offset. Will get back to you on the red raptor. I know he was running KO2s but not sure on the size. And he was running 17in -0 offset but don’t know the wheel off the top of my head
I bough the truck used and it had the kit already on it. I have a whole video series on the rehab of that truck. Have not covered cost of the rehab yet, but plan on it here in the future. As I got big changes coming to my truck
Great video, I love all your information about your trip, I especially like RAPTOR in video… can’t get enough!
Thanks man.
Simply stunning… these videos have been pushing this area further up on my bucket list
Dude, it’s amazing out there. I’m ready to go back. So beautiful out there
Legit! Only 4 hour from my house...definitely going to visit. Thanks for sharing H
Totally worth it man. Just make sure you make your day pass and camping reservations ahead of time for this road.

Thanks man. Glad I’m not the only one
Probably one of my favorite videos! Great job!
Thank you 🙏
White Rim is amazing but does get sketchy when it rains….glad you missed any major weather.
I bet. Specially if there is any flash flooding. Luckily this day was not bad. But rather be safe than sorry.
Awesome video. I’ve been wanting to do this trail for a few years now since I visited Moab in college.

Last time we put a tape on it, it was 94-95in wide at the front.
4:01 Nope! 😅
🤣🤣 yeah. Me neither.
Hi awesome video , What’s size and brand are the Tyres and rims on both raptors? Offset and wide of rim?

Ok. Red raptor was on 35” KO2s on 17in Method NVs in machined look zero offset
The red one on 35 or 315/70/17 ?
Thanks , greetings from Puerto Rico, luv your videos
I think so, what ever their 35in equivalent was.
Man that seems tight for a Carli SuperDuty. 😥
Yeah. Specially at hard scrabble
Do you have a video about your mid travel?
Edit: how much it costs etc.
