Iniulat rin ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines na nasa 13 planta an nagpatupad ng forced outages habang lima naman ang gumagana sa mas mababang capacity.

With several of Megawatts of Solar Farm projects that were constructed up North few years ago, have the ERC, Meralco, NGCP, and gov't considered these during our summer months? Rainy season, we rely on hydro power from dams due to obvious reason. Summer season, we should rely on solar power from farms when it generates the most. Solar energy cannot be continuously harvested and stored without being used. Else the chance to collect solar power during this season will be a waste/missed opportunity. How come the news media failed to ask about this? Looked like their solution is to pay for higher fuel cost and then charge the consumer. I am hearing penalizing the power plants, but doesn't use this penalty for paying for higher energy charge. Somebody is collecting and pocketing the money. Every year and we are in the same situation. Is this due to incompetence of every proponent here?
