I really don't get how people can consider Dakota Johnson an actress 🙄 She's the nepo baby of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson. And it shows. She's far from the brightest lightbulb out there lmao. Most actors don't watch their own movies because they don't like watching themselves. This is actually common for people who aren't actors as well.
It's a job, sometimes they just have other things to do. Or just don't enjoy watching themselves.
I don't think I've ever watched anything I've made after the editing and first watch through, I'd rather just move on to something else.
Saying that an actor should watch the films they're in is like saying that a writer should read the book they've written.

I'm not surprised at all about the demographic breakdown of Bob Marley. During late 90s/early 2000s growing up here in AZ my dad (Italian decent white guy from Kentucky) would have Bob in the rotation playing by the pool EVERY DAY.
That was a concern for the executives during his concert days. Majority of the audience in the states were white.
As a mixed guy from Kentucky most of us Kentuckians love Bob Marley. Regardless of color tbh.

If there’s one thing for certain, it’s that Grace will always slay the Segway’s into her ads. It took me 20 seconds to realise it had nothing to do with Madame Web 😭😭

@@shubhangbahadur7112 Yeah, I love Dune and think this sequel will do great, but not THAT great. The story just isn't a clear-cut, feel-good hero's journey that does well with huge mainstream audiences. Frankly, it's a pretty dark, sad, and flat out weird story (oh boy, especially as it goes). So, it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea. But even the 60k+ predictions are amazing! Especially for such a niche story. I'm happy for my fellow Duneheads!

Jumped on that The Traitors train this week too. Crazy stuff, this is not my usual thing but it’s awesome. Alan Cumming’s absolutely *lethal* shade is the primary reason for seeing the show on Peacock IMHO.
On a positive note, I'm looking forward to "Dune Part 2" hopefully I plan to see it on Saturday March 2nd. I'm such of fan of the saga of Dune. "The Sleeper Has Awaken!".
I gotta tell ya, the animation Miles Morales and the art style is a major selling point for me. It's so beautiful to look at.
Bob Marley biopic was great! I can understand if some people didn’t understand what they were saying. My parents are Jamaican and I grew up hearing them talk like that at home, and obviously not in public 😅

No it wasn't great. It's the same lazy approach to all music biopics and it comes off as bland and just recounting famous events in his life with no focus.

Hi Grace. In Jamaica, they closed most movies that were supposed to be in theaters. To put out almost exclusively the Bob Marley movie, so people didn't have many options on what to watch. So, the public holiday and Valentine's Day greatly boosted it. I'm not sure how many other countries did this. So look out for the biopic's second-week drop when it has competition.

That definitely wasn't the case stateside. They were still showing other movies, but I was surprised with how many screens my multiplex dedicated to One Love. They had the movie playing almost every hour of the day. That sort of luxury is usually only afforded to stuff like blockbusters and superhero flicks.
Nuff people showed up tho!! 😁🙏
No one else did that, Jamaica did it because Marley is their national treasure.

When actors attend preimeres, do they not stay for the film screening? Maybe not for every stop on a press tour, but surely they stay for the film sometimes? Or do they head straight to the after party? 😂
Better yet, how come everyone involved in the movie, doesn't watch the movie FIRST, before showing it to the public ? Maybe they need to reshoot something, or change script, or scene, etc. Seems lazy on the part of Hollywood.

It definitely showed. The movie turned out better than I could have hoped for 🥹 Felt like a real experience seeing it in the theater with a full audience.

One Day is a very good show! I think those are pretty good numbers for a Romance-Drama. I binged all the 14 episodes and loved everything about it!
I enjoyed and got more out of Grace’s reviews of Madame Web far more than the movie itself!
If I thought that Madame Web was going to be watchable I would have gone to see it.

I’ve been very picky on what I go see in theatres, my husband and I wait for digital this past year, but DUNE 2 we will see in theater 😊 and most likely Dead Pool 2, other than that we wait for digital
Mine took us to migration which was cute but cost him $150 for five people one toddler. Ridiculous.
A-List membership is $22-24 a month for an individual. You get 12 movies a month, 3 a week. That's $2 for every movie you see at AMC Movie Theatres. You could have had 6 monthly memberships for $150, and seen 12 movies each. @bones642

I’m so happy to see peacocks Traitors doing well. I watched season 1 when it aired bc I love big brother and survivor . . Season 1 was released in the binge way. Season 2 the first 3 dropped and now it’s been weekly. The finale is march 7th
