- BLUEGILL & Crappie Fishing in a Lake That's Drying Up FAST! *Devasting Loss*
In this video I took Stephanie fishing to a lake that's drying up very fast, we wanted to catch big bluegill and crappie using live minnows and spinner bait jigs. We started catching fish on the artificial lures quickly in the beginning, but the minnows were not getting any bites. I tossed a live bait into an area that had some water flow and shortly after I was catching fish on both baits we were using. After a couple of catches I tossed another live bait into the water flow and what happened next, I never imagined, and the loss was very devasting. By the end of the fishing trip, we caught several nice fish, and I took them home to clean and cook for dinner. #bluegill #fish #fishing #stompindirt

Yes indeed!!
You out fished me this day but not again!! 😂😂😂 that lake is fun to bad it will be gone one day 😔
😔😔
Awesome video! Sorry you lost that bass. I’ve had 3+ lb bass on for like 5 seconds with Aberdeen hooks and they bend it out and get off. Always sucks but still fun!
It was definitely a good time!! Thanks I appreciate it!!
I normally fillet my fish , but the other day all I caught was 4 smaller bluegills so I fried them whole with some Everglades seasoned breading. I haven’t done that in years. Got to say they were pretty tasty.
Very nice, I love Everglades seasoned breading as well!! Thanks I appreciate it!
Wish we had tilapia closer. I've been itching to take one with a slingbow.
That would be fun!!
Always filet, and give to a fryer and coleslaw with baked beans
I like that combination!!
My buddy caught an 8 pound mudfish yesterday. I took a hook in the hand to land it. Lol Too big to keep live till i could cook. We kept him anyway and put it on ice. We each got a huge fillet. Cut it up into thin strips and fried it. It was really good. I dont know what's wrong with the ones your catching but i think they are delicious. Lol Neutral flavor and no smell on the meat once its cleaned up.
I appreciate the information, I'll have to do a video an give it another try!
I roll whole with all panfish !
Nothing wrong with that! Thanks I appreciate it!!
Looks good! We always did the fish that way on the bank wherever we were fishing. The only difference was we had to do it over a wood fire. Went through a lot of cooking oil during the summertime.
@charleswalker3836 I love cooking fish along the riverbank, nothing better for sure! I hear ya on the cooking oil, I go through alot myself during fishing season!!😂
I Fillet mine!!
Thanks for letting me know I appreciate it!!
Getting Hi Tech
😂
I keep them whole .
Nice! Thanks I appreciate it!
How are those Ozark Trail Rod and reels?
Rods are really good, they reels a get you by in a pinch but for $10 you just can't complain!
Where can I get a road runner at? Thanks much love from Tennessee ❤
I appreciate it! You can get em at Amazon,Bass Pro Shops, Academy Sports.
I fish a private lake that is over stocked with crappie and bass and no crappie are allowed to go back in the water so I fillet all I catch but I have 20 people to provide fish for
Oh and amazing video love your content keep ‘em rolling
I do understand the fishery management, my issue here is the lake is drying up fast and if it gets fished out an dries completely then great because people ate an the fish weren't wasted but if we get rain an water levels get back up then they'll be enough fish to replenish a depleted population
@haydenbecker1978 thank you I really appreciate it!!
Why is the lake drying up??
@J91124 Florida has been in a drought for awhile up until the most recent hurricane Debbie passed by.
