It's challenge time! And old classic is revived again when 6 of the most recent Real World seasons are put in Bodrum, Turkey to compete each other to determine the ultimate season! So here's how it works: each challenge, the winner is declared the Power Team and the loser is sent straight to the arena. Then, the power team chooses another team to face the losers and selects which game they'll be playing: Endurance, Mental, Strategy or Strength.
In the arena, the teams going in must decide which two players face to elimination. If they can't decide (which I tell you that'll happen A LOT), the Power Team chooses from them.

Back when intros used to be lit 🔥
Fun Fact: The entirety of a team Syndey showed up, including Ashli, Dunbar, KellyAnne, and Isaac from The Real World: Sydney. They even got on the bus leading up to TJ before being randomly stopped because supposedly one of them did not pass a psych test. It's rumored that that person was Isaac, but he also claims that his doctors told him he was perfectly fine and they just took the team off for no reason. The Sydney team was replaced with Fresh Meat (which imo was kinda dumb because Camila was never on a Fresh Meat season).
Also Frank Rossler from The Real World Las Vegas 2002 agreed to play and they somehow didn't put him on which blows my mind.
yeah wouldve been interesting to see how that all played out w/ sydney they all had their share of challenge experience.
also im sure the reason frank got dropped was because they couldnt get one the other girls from 2002 vegas season to come, my guess is it was altons ex, forgot what her name was.
I'm sure they were taken off so that Camila and Cara could be on the show. Pretty lame but it is what it is.
Also the original format had 2 Vegas teams. 2002 Vegas had Frank, Arissa, Alton, and Trishelle and 2011 Vegas had Leroy, Dustin, Cooke, and Nany. I think Heather that Dustin was with at the time didn't want him on the show with Cooke so they ended up cutting the Vegas teams to just one. That's just a rumor but what I've heard.
Yeah Frank and arissa were originally supposed to be on the Vegas team with Alton and Trishelle. But Frank dropped out sadly and they chose to replace arissa. So Dustin and Nana were brought in 😢
We all know that person was Isaac lol
Wish they had gotten more classic seasons for this challenge. Instead of ones like St. Thomas and Fresh Meat
A road rules team was contracted but they didn’t end up using them 😭

you need to re watch the inferno and gauntlet series and also ruins and rivals 1. the older seasons are a lot better

Rixton i think there were way worst challenges than this one like everything after battle of the exes2 were pathetic and Free Agents was pretty boring as well

shoulda brought in the road rules team that was rumored to get a call (derrick k, darrell, katie n rachel) But i honestly dont blame Big E wen he quit. It was an uphill battle n it wasnt gon change. His team n brooklyn were at the bottom of the totem pole n unless they won challenges they were gon go in every single time.
For San Diego i'd switch Frank and Ashley for Randy and Robin

I honestly don’t know why Camila was on Fresh Meat, they could’ve asked Ev, Mandi, Theresa, Laurel, like there’s so much better people that were actually on the season.
I don’t know I kind of like that they put the Spring Break Challenge rep on the Fresh Meat team hahaha

That sucks that The Ruins and The Cutthroat intros were blocked as those are 2 of my favorite intros of the series. Would you by any chance have The Quest, MVT, Challenge 2000, or the RW/RR Extreme intros? I have been wanting to watch those for a long time, but are hard to find. I would understand if you don't have them. I am truly grateful for all the intros and seasons you have put up on TH-cam so far. Thank you!!!
This was the ABSOLUTE worst season of The Challenge. The most of the people are not competitor's at all. But the worst is Frank, Zach and that blonde chick that "hates everyone". OMG they are horrible people and should be ashamed. And Zach and Jonna get together and on a later Challenge he treats her like dirt. He's an awful person. The entire season was painful to watch.
@Joey G Productions if you think seeing real worlders in the show makes it great you’re truly stupid. Every season before that had Real Worlders and produced better seasons like Cutthroat and Rivals 1 for example. It’s no longer the Real World/Road Rules Challenge.. it’s The Challenge now so get used to it

@@rixton4710 Svetlana's been done with The Challenge for years (she was apparently supposed to be on Gauntlet III originally but left at the airport at the time of departure). Also she apparently has issues with Bananas and won't do any shows that he's a part of. If a Key West team was put together Janelle would've been more likely than Svetlana.

2002 was better i only say thag because the format was real world vs road rules for todays fans i suppose it was okay but i grew up watchin from seasons 1-10

@@OwariDa_ Wes and Alton are both Challenge legends in their own right but they were completely checked out on this season and it showed and the rest of the Austin team was just bad. The Austin team would've looked a lot more impressive if it had been Wes, Nehemiah, Rachel, and Johanna.
@Dan Chai Wes was already dating his current wife by the time this season aired so I think it's safe to say he'd completely moved on from the drama with Johanna by this point. It might've been a little awkward but it wouldn't have been nearly as bad as Danny and Melinda (who got divorced not long before this season aired) being on the same team. Plus Nehemiah overall is a significantly better competitor than Danny and Johanna is a better competitor than Melinda (when her head is actually in the game which it wasn't on the last season she did). Melinda is an incredibly sweet and friendly person (almost too friendly for The Challenge tbh) but she's not a good competitor and has been a liability on every season she's been on (she wasn't good on Cutthroat either).

Ok never noticed it but my husband asked me was Nany pregnant when she did this show because of a pooch she had in the intro I looked and seen that she did look like she was OMG OMG LOL wonder if she was.😂
In my honest opinion, intros are different from the show. The intro is less likely to be downloaded and used for commercial use, but hey what to I know. I could go on a rant against Viacom, but its all good. I think the newest ones are harder to show online because they have them on MTV.com and Itunes, so you could get them there, but I know that The Gauntlet 2, Inferno 3, The Ruins, Cutthroat, The Duel 1, and some that I cant think of now, are blocked more often than others. I'm not sure why.

The way Zach and Frank treated Sam on this season was aweful. And not one stuck up for her.
MVT is like an impossible dream, that is truly the lost season. But I do have the Challenge 2000 one! I'll post it tomorrow, and I'll have to dig for the Extreme one. The thing is that I wanted to make a chronologic playlist with all of the intros but Viacom ruined it even when I encourage people to buy them like I did, booo ¬¬

Alot ppl forget Cancun was probably the best team and imho CJ should've came back but he living his best life.
honestly if bronne was there instead of derek i think they wouldve won more challenges and made it to the final.

mmben007 keep in mind she almost lost because of Zach...Paula was just better then Cara Maria in those finals. Cara didn't lost because of Laurel and CERTAINLY not because of cooke.(Paula is just a great runner) Now do i think if Cara was in FA final she would have won? 100%

This season had so much potential, but ended up being a shit show. After Fresh Meat got eliminated the show became a bunch of rookies looking dumb

San Diego beat las vegas if trishelle was not there las vegas probaly would have
Basically it was San Diego Vs Las Vegas the rest of the teams were way weaker Cancun and St Thomas were descent. Austin and Freshmeat withouth Lacey and Eric would have competed. New Orleans and Brooklyn obviously the weakest and got real lucky specially Brooklyn.
Josh Kolbo JD and Chet were not that strong imo
Las Vegas wasn’t that good.. San Diego was the real contenders and the only team close to them was Cancun. St Thomas and New Orleans were just irrelevant filler teams
Austin wasn't bad just because of Lacey. All of their competitors sucked aside from Wes (who was clearly mentally checked out on this season probably as soon as he took a look at the rest of his team). Danny and Melinda are not good competitors and haven't shown much of anything on the Challenges (neither of them have ever won an elimination). Nehemiah was apparently an alternate for this season. He would've been a huge upgrade from Danny for Austin.
@@OwariDa_ Las Vegas had a weird dynamic because they comingled two different RW:Las Vegas seasons together and on top of that Alton (who is a Challenge legend) was out of shape and completely unmotivated on this season. Dustin and Trishelle's dynamic in the final was....interesting. Cancun was not a good team. The only athletic competitor on their team was CJ and he's notoriously bad at politicking because he's just too naive and too much of a good-hearted and honest straight-shooter (which doesn't work in this game unless you have superhuman athleticism like Landon). Brooklyn was probably the second best team behind San Diego since they had both Chet and Sarah (and San Diego was still a highly dysfunctional team).

from what i heard, think cara maria was the one who confirmed, they contacted both laurel & ev but because they guessed (correctly too) that big easy was gonna be on the team they knew they were screwed if they agreed. & im sure they knew it wouldnt of been kenny or evan because by this point the whole tonya thing was already out there and they werent being invited no more.
