I read somewhere that the Kuma cafe employs folks who would have trouble finding employment elsewhere due to social anxiety or disability! So I think that is lovely.
Please continue to make these updated vlogs. So much has changed since Covid put a stop to Japan travel for most of us. As we plan to return this is a great resource thank you!
Big smile on my face even before watchin this. Remembering Your old videos from Years ago when I prepared for my first journey to Japan. It was so much fun ❤🗼⛩
I will be in Tokyo in September and i hope i will met u anywhere just to thank you personally for saving me so much time for planing the trip to japan 🫶🏻🦅🤝🏻 youre a legend and the best Japan TH-camr for me THANK YOU SO MUCH !!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'd avoid the shiba cafe tbh. I'd actually avoid any animal cafe. I always ALWAYS do my research before going to any animal related location in Japan and it came as no surprise that many of the reviews express concern for the welfare of the dogs. They're exhausted, sometimes appearing sedated, and the space isn't big enough for them. You can get your daily dose of cuteness in other ways elsewhere.
@@kath8949 I'm ashamed to say that's originally how I learned my lesson. From the outside it looked like we found a "safe" cat cafe. We left after maybe five minutes wanting to cry 😞
@@itsrainingcatsanddogs2651 maybe different country and different cultures…? I‘ve heard a lot bad, not justified things about animal cafes worldwide, would never ever go to any and support such type of animal husbandry, but there may be places out there who actually care and take care about them
Thanks for the video Kim, I’ve been to Takeshita at twice, and have done a few of the things you showed, but there were some I hadn’t seen. So Thankyou for the inspo . ❤
This is super useful breaking down and showing a variety of places. This looks like a really useful spot for going with friends, because we could meet at specific times for mutual reservations but also split off in between to explore parts that are more to our specific interests.
hello Kim. Can you make a video where to get music instruments in Tokyo? where to buy pianos? where to buys sheet music? is there a district for musical supplies?
I'm taking notes from this travel tip video! 📝 Btw, have you heard about the new Nomadlane V4 Bento Bag? It seems like a must-have for adventurers like you! 🌏🌴
Nice to meet you, Takeru. How is your trip to Japan? I think I ate a lot of delicious food, but my recommended dish is tonkotsu ramen. okonomiyaki. tonkatsu. gyudon. katsudon. yakisoba. soba. Yakiniku. Try it if you have the chance! Have a nice trip☆
THIS IS THE BEST GUIDE IVE FOUND SO FAR! I got sooooo many stops out of this video. Thank you! I go to Japan in 2 months so I’m excited to visit some of these spots 🤍🤍🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
hi kim ! thank you for making this wonderful travel guide ! i just wanted to ask how long did you explore takeshita street, harajuku street, and cat street in one day ??
This was so informative 👍 and so well filmed . I love reading and hearing about the Meiji period so I really liked this 👌 💞 . It's really your element 😉
Overall really nice video and I had no idea about the Samsung Galaxy x TeamLab exhibition - definitely wanna go check it out! I just don't understand why you, like so many other people, keep recommending Takeshita Dori. That street has turned into a soulless tourist trap. It's always overcrowded and there's not much there that you wouldn't be able to get in a hundred other places elsewhere in Tokyo. I specifically advise all my friends against going there when they come visit Tokyo.
Your videos are so well made!! Could you please do a video about solo photography tips in Japan please 🙏🏼 I will be travelling by myself in September so would love some tips and tricks before I go
where exactly are the gachapon machines? i didnt understand what you said in the video. the address in the video also doesnt lead to a gachapon place in google maps
Kim, eating all that Cotton Candy, can you say Sugar Rush lol? Japan has the best Gatcha. I wish ours here in the U.S. were that awesome. I really liked the part with the dogs. They were really cute. Bonus points to the one wearing the Jack-o'-lantern thing. I love jack-o'-lanterns so that dog rocks :)
Hi Kim, we're going to Tokyo in the middle of October and I haven't been to Japan at that time yet. Would you be able to tell me what you think the weather would be like? Hot? Cold? Thank you!
FYI there is no such thing as 'micro pigs'. They will all grow up to be full sized pigs. They will keep the pigs there until they get too big and who knows what happens to the animals then? Please don't support these types of cafes. Thanks
You should be very suspicious of anywhere that has baby animals. Animals grow older and get bigger. What do you think happens to the ones that get too big? Yup, off to the slaughterhouse.
Everything looks amazing but, DON'T SUPPORT ANIMAL CAFES, most animals don't like to be there interacting with a lot of people, they suffer from stress and anxiety :(
What? dogs prisoners in a room and everyone put his hand and bother the poor amimals? I'am sorry, i love you and respect you for years, but this in europpe cauled animal abuse!
It's summer now so people are most likely wearing masks to either preventing the spread of disease or avoid catching disease. I hear some women wear a mask to avoid being seen without makeup.
I read somewhere that the Kuma cafe employs folks who would have trouble finding employment elsewhere due to social anxiety or disability! So I think that is lovely.
Oh I didn’t know that, that’s great!
Kim, thank you for making the 2023 version. Please do more of another area 🥰 I love you ❤
First time we walked to Meiji Shrine it was snowing lightly..such a lovely stroll
The little baby 🐷 are so cute… will visit next time

Im going to Tokyo & Yokohama area in March 2024 for 25 days. This video makes me even more excited, thank you
Big smile on my face even before watchin this. Remembering Your old videos from Years ago when I prepared for my first journey to Japan. It was so much fun ❤🗼⛩
So many new (for me) places I want to visit. Thank you so much for taking the time to film and edit this!

Went to one without researching and had the same experience as the reviews you saw. It was very unnerving and disheartening.

Cat cafes in Germany a great. The cats seem very happy.

Are you being grateful? My husband and I's Shinigami are watching!
This is sick, didn’t need to plan it. This will be my to do list for the day when I’m in Harijiku.
Tokyo harajuku is a cool and fun place to enjoy Japan.👍
I missed your videos like this!!!
I’m so happy you posted this 🥰
Makes planning my next trip much easier ❣️

Thia ia amazing thank. you! We are going to Tokyo next year!! this is so helpful!
Great ideas for places to visit there!
hello Kim. Can you make a video where to get music instruments in Tokyo? where to buy pianos? where to buys sheet music? is there a district for musical supplies?
yeah I wonder where to buy sheet music in Japan..?
the music shopping district is mainly found along Meidai Dori
Hi Kim, thank you for the new video. It has given us so many ideas for our trip in October, especially the TeamLabs and Samsung collab

Are these old videos? Its super hot in Tokyo and you are wearing a coat/sweater?😣
All my videos take a while to film/edit since I like to compile a lot of things together

It's called food. I love bacon, pork sausages, cha shu in ramen, tonkotsu broth, and pork belly! Yummy!

They take care of the animals . They aren’t in pain . Ur just stupid
Why people wearing masks?
It's summer now so people are most likely wearing masks to either preventing the spread of disease or avoid catching disease. I hear some women wear a mask to avoid being seen without makeup.
To keep their germs to themselves
Why people still wearing a self harming mask in Japan?
My 7 year old daughter loved this and said to look like her favorite anime Nezuko
